Read moreAbsolutely delicious food and opened the door once again to Puerto Rican food in my life.
Many years ago, I had the privilege of living among the people of Puerto Rico as part of a cultural trip offered through my college. I had a blast living there and even met my now wife, Isela, while on the trip.
I was a part of a select group that got to sample the food prior to the opening of the restaurant. It was cooked promptly, the food was hot, authentic, and the service was wonderful. I was able to briefly meet the owner, Roger, and had a most delightful conversation about the culture.
This food honestly took me right back to my college days and the time I spent in Puerto Rico. I am not ashamed to admit that I even had tears in my eyes as the nostalgia set in!
I would definitely recommend this place to all lovers of hispanic food and I will put this on my list of places to...
Read moreDefinitely NOT Puertorican Food. It's Mexican, Central & South American food. The so called Puertorican food tastes very salty, not good at all and has no Boricua flavor in it. Rice is smushy not grainy and loose. Maybe it's cooked by Mexicans or another ethnic but believe me it's a waste of time and money, and I should know. Shame we can't eat truly delucious Puertorican food anywhere in the State unless you make it at home and we work hard and stay busy a lot so time is not on our side and would really love to have a good place to eat our kind of food. Mexican food is delicious and you can find anywhere and so the other hispanic foods. Can't wait for the day somebody makes it happen and open up a great Boricua food place. We'll really appreciate it and trust me we'll patronize it...
