Huddle House — Restaurant in Greenville

Two issues with this location of Huddle House. The first is food/food presentation and the second is customer service. The location itself is a bit rundown but typical for the area. Our orders were placed and it took a while for our meals to be brought out. My coffee was only refreshed when the meals were brought to the table. Our server never returned to check on us. When my meal arrived it did not look appeasing. I got a southwest breakfast bowl. The description sounded good and the picture gave an indication of what the bowl would look like. It looked like leftovers thrown into a nice clean white bowl. The dish had two slices of pepper jack cheese on top of the potatoes and under the eggs. Shredded cheese would have been better. My mother had Turkey sausages that were flavorless and her grits didn’t melt the butter that was put on top. The meals were very lackluster. I was never asked a choice of bread or if I liked the sauce on top of the bowl or on the side. I didn’t realize it had a sauce until the dish arrived. I could eat any part of the dish that had the sauce on it and it was simply because I didn’t like the sauce not that it was bad. Our server not once came to check on us but I did hear the server attending the gentleman behind us several times. We even had to ask for our ticket. When she (our server) ask how was everything, I politely said not very good and explained the issue. She never apologized just went into defense mode. I paid for my meal via credit card. I ordered online and set a certain time for it to be ready by ,I get there five mins after that time and nothing has bn cooked,the cook lost the order receipt,so the waitress takes him my phone to show him our order he replied with what you want me to do,so by this time I want my money bk ,keep in mind their were three orders before mine whom sat an hr waiting on food as well , the lady couldn't give me my money bk bc she didn't know how to refund since I ordered online with card and bc only a manager could do it,they then called managers no answer r return call ,so this other older cook in there just cooks my order ,so I don't lose my money per say , by this time I've bn in this place over an hr ,I get my food come home ,the sausage gravy was more like soup ,bread u could of thrown at a wall and it wouldn't break ,a burger that was awful. I've tried to go by reach a Manager an call a manager personally can't get no one at work and they don't answer r return calls ,and the ppl working never answers phones when u call . We will never be bk ,we've had several bad experience here an I tried to give it go ordering to go and this was final straw ,never will I waste another...

I was in town to visit my sister and I wanted to go to the Huddle House worst mistake ever. They had one server and he was great ,the cook was great. But he did need some help the manager walked around in her cell phone talking personal business that should have been done in private because I don't want to know anything about her sex life. It was two other ladies there just talking while they watched the young man struggling to keep up. Not only was he super busy with everything a server has to do he was stopped to carry out the trash by one person and the other having him do something else the manager was repramanding him in front of everyone and she was very loud with it, I will not go back as long as that manager is the she is just rude and very disrespectful. It was another table that was settled about 15 to 20 minutes after we arrived and they lied and said they was there for 30 minutes we was only there for less 30 minutes that's including eating and she repramanded him again in front...
