Went to Kelly’s Landing yesterday for lunch got there around 12:45pm. There was 3 of us and we each ordered a burger and I got a beer. We sat outside on the deck and it does have very nice views of the lake, seaplanes take off and landing was fun to watch. Unfortunately that was the only nice thing I can say about this place. The waitress was terrible which makes for a bad experience. A waiter brought us 3 glasses of water with the glasses filled to the top so water spilled everywhere on the table and my wife then the waitress returned with my bottle of beer that was warm without a glass to drink it out of. I want to say it was lunchtime and there was probably a dozen people total so the wait for our food should be short, after 20 minutes the waitress came over and asked how everything was.at that point we only had water and a beer sitting in front of us. I said good then I asked when our food would be coming and she said shortly. After 40 minutes passed we decided to leave. I went inside and our waitress was in sitting in a booth on her phone I told the bar tender that we had been waiting 40 minutes for our food and said well 40 minutes isn’t very long to be waiting. Maybe if the place was full but there was only a few people outside on the deck and the was only 2 people sitting at the bar inside . Once the waitress realized we were leaving she got up and went into the kitchen and got our food. I told her it took to long I paid for the beer and left. I was very disappointed I had read mostly good reviews for Kelly’s and a few bad ones. Nice place great views terrible staff warm beer and I can’t comment on the food because it never came. I will never go back

This review is for the rooms, not the restaurant. Note: this is not a hotel, so don’t expect anything like room cleanings, shampoos or anything like that. On the positive side, this is a great location to visit Greenville and Moosehead Lake. The rooms are also very clean. The view is beautiful and you can see seaboats take off. On the negative side, the rooms are a little musty with a hint of cigarette smoke, possibly from a long time ago., since the rooms are posted no smoking. They’re also pretty old so things are not bright and shiny like a nice hotel. The worst thing is the noise. The rooms are not sound insulated so you hear everything: the people eating right outside your door, the people walking above you, the hustle and bustle of the adjoining restaurant, the music from speakers right on your outer wall. You literally open your door and there’s people on tables right there. One other thing, it’s got wacky plumbing, if someone flushes the toilet anywhere while taking a shower, you’ll be scalded. After 9pm the restaurant closes so you can use the tables to have a glass of wine. So overall, it’s a reasonable place yo stay with all those caveats, if you can bear them.

I travel to Maine quite often and am always looking for that next great find, whether its food, an antique, or waterfall. I come here to explore all that is Maine, and I've been coming to Maine for over 20 years. One thing that has always disappointed me was there really isn't a great variety when it comes to spice and flavor in Maine. This place, You'll miss the place entirely if you miss the sign, as it's literally down a street right on Moosehead lake, so the views, well the views are incredible. I opted for the bacon avacado burger. Now a burger is a burger, it's sort of hard to screw up a burger, and most places seem to have fine burgers. This place, the burger was cooked to my perfect liking of well done, the burger itself was extremely flavorful, juicy, and top notch. The waitress and hostess were so incredibly pleasant, drinks came out to us quickly. Our food was prompt. This was everything we were hoping for and more, as we have been in need of a good relaxing afternoon. Will definitely be back!

I visited Kelly’s Landing yesterday, and the view was absolutely beautiful — you can see the lake perfectly from the patio. It was a bit chilly outside, but I decided to sit there anyway. At first, I walked inside to consider whether I should stay in or out, but as soon as I entered, there was a very strong, unpleasant odor, so I told the host I preferred to sit outside.

A few minutes later, a server came over. She didn’t introduce herself or even ask how I was doing — it felt like they were in a hurry. She simply asked about a drink, so I ordered a soda. Shortly after, I ordered a salad, which was actually delicious (I even took a picture of it). The food was very good, and later I also ordered dessert — a carrot cake that was surprisingly large for just $10, and definitely worth it.

What disappointed me was the service. The server didn’t come across as very friendly, and I felt like they were rushing me the whole time — maybe because I was dining alone, I’m not sure. After I finished the salad, she immediately brought the check without me asking, even though I still wanted dessert. Also didn’t offered to refill my drink. I had expected a little more kindness and attention, especially since I ordered more than just one thing.

Overall, the outdoor atmosphere was very pleasant and the food was excellent, so I would recommend coming here for the dishes. However, the service could definitely...

We ate here on a wet, rainy, gray evening. The sign going in warned us to be patient with staff as they, among every other food place anywhere, was short-staffed. The ambience in the restaurant was warm and inviting, the staff was friendly but it was easy to see they were tired as well. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings which were delicious. Batter was even and not too thick, fried well and had great flavor. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries, my husband had the black Angus hamburger. Both came with onions, lettuce, and a tomato. My tomato was barely ripe and very thin. The size of the pickle I got made up for my little tomato. The rolls for both our sandwiches was a bit dry. For my chicken, it was too much bun for the size of chicken I got. There was also very little flavor or seasoning done to the meat. It was cooked well, but needed more flavoring. The fries were delicious. The best part of the meal was the desserts. My husband got the Bavarian chocolate mousse cake with whipped cream. He said it was one of the best desserts he's had in a long time. I got the strawberry shortcake which was also very good. The biscuit was soft, homemade, as was the yummy whipped cream. Our waitress was kind and friendly. For the most part it was a good meal and next time we are in Greenville, we...
