Sunset Steakhouse — Restaurant in Greenwood Township

Good afternoon Abigail: Our posted hours are 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, so our manager extended you a favor by allowing a 9 p.m. reservation. Sorry for your experience, but when you had not arrived at 9 p.m., we made a decision to close the restaurant as we did not receive a call that you were running late. Nonetheless, I understand your husband and Lucian have spoken and we look forward to your upcoming visit. Have a nice evening!

That is what you reply to my review? We were extended NO favor as your reservation software allows for a 9pm reservation. Lucian reviewed the footage of our arrival and said there was NO reason for what transpired to have happened. As we were not greeted on arrival and were made to wait at the door regardless of our own 5-7 minute tardy arrival. We were told you hold reservations for 15 minutes by Lucian.

Everything was fully reconciled after my spouse talked to Lucian today, however this reply is a very backhanded attempt at rectifying the poor customer service experience. My advice is if you close at 9 don’t allow someone to reserve a table. It’s not a courtesy we asked to have extended to us. I don’t think there will be an upcoming visit honestly. This is getting ridiculous...

Our waitress was wonderful! The food was cold. But, the worst part the 2 men serving our food dropped coleslaw on our friends back! It went ALL over his shirt & pants! Neither server even knowledges it or even apologized for it. We asked for something to wipe it up. One of the servers went storming into the kitchen slamming the door behind him. Our friend went to the bathroom to get cleaned up. Our friend then had to sit & eat with his wet, stained clothes. We had to ask for a clean chair. We told our waitress what had happened when she came to our table. She apologized & said she could comp him a dessert. That wasn’t good enough. She was able to get his meal comped. We go to the Casino often & eat there a lot. The food hasn’t been very good. We will NOT be eating there anymore. We will go to the Golf Course from now on! Service is very good there & the food has been very good! Also, good food & service at the Vermilion Club...

Go there alot lately good food.this time I order something different,food was done less then 5 minutes I received a burger that was barely cooked cold fries.girlfriend got a slicked steak burger with onion and peppers that were definitely just taken out of the fridge steak was one piece not sliced ,watress ask if we needed anything I told her right away I'm not eating this as my blood from my burger was under my cold fries.she had a attitude what do you want me to do about it. And then walked away.then 2 minutes went by I believe was either the cook or manager.asked same thing I responded by telling him I just dont want it no more I was done eating.neither seemed like it was a big deal that my burger was very undercooked Evan after I showed both.then he came back and said don't worry about the bill.should be more concerned about food...
