Decided to stop in here on our way through. Gave me a chance to finally try some quesabirria tacos. They were pretty good! We also had some gorditas which weren't bad, but could have used a tad more flavor. The service was friendly and the place was full of Hispanic families (which seemed to be a good sign) :) Would definitely go back so I could try some more options! Prices seemed reasonable, and checkout was easy. The servers spoke perfect English, so no problem if you don't speak Spanish.

I'm from Illinois visiting friends in town and the size is smaller then what I'm use too here in my area of Illinois burritos were small. tacos were great. nice dinning room , staff was nice but hard to get their attention and the place was slow. I'm going to post pictures of what we have in Illinois for a burrito. rice water was also good. my friends enjoyed it and will be back I will too when I'm back down that way. and I'll hope they have bigger burritos. now check these out from Illinois

Amazing, truly authentic Mexican food. Don’t expect chips and salsa but expect a place that feels like home and has diverse and magnificent food. My favorite restaurant locally. I wish it were open for dinner after work on weekdays!

We lived in Texas for many years & loved TexMex. We really missed it when we moved here ... until we found Alicia's. It's now our Saturday lunch place. I love the Empanadas, Gorditas, & Huaraches, but my husband loves EVERYTHING & eats lunch there several times a week. He's such a regular that they cook a special dish of fried chicken, onions, & potatoes for him, not on the menu. I always get a side of the potatoes now, too. They're amazing. They really should be on the menu. The owners are very friendly & just really lovely people. All around...

I know this is a good place, but was disappointed today at lunch. If you are vegetarian, you will have to either be a real stickler, since it is hard to avoid fatty foods. I wanted a bean burrito, rice and beans, with grilled vegetables, but was talked into some vegetables sitting on a fried bread soaked in fat, no rice. The only thing to enjoy were the refried beans, lettuce and avocado, which also has too much fat. I could have made a better choice, and am not so sure that would have been possible...
