I’ve lived in neighboring Lees Summit for over a decade and just heard about this place. The parking is weird as in not enough, the interior lobby is wasted space, but I’m not a restaurant owner so what do I know. The inside is pleasant. Much like every other Mexican restaurant. Vivid colors, unique lampshades, and comfortable ambiance. We went for their Monday specials: - hard or soft tacos, beef or chicken for $1 each - house special margaritas for $1.99 The tacos were double wrapped in perfectly thick corn tortillas and were NOT filled up mostly with lettuce and other unneeded toppings. The meat was cubed for the chicken and stringy for the beef. They were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. We did order a side of guacamole, but not sure if it was worth it at $4.50. The chips were ok and so was the salsa. All in all, the experience was probably the best “Mexican” food I’ve had in suburb-land...ever. I say “Mexican” simply because you’d have to go down to Kansas City, Kansas to get real, home-made Mexican food. There is really no comparison between suburb-Mexican and the real deal. Same goes for most foods from other countries I guess. Highly recommend this little gem!

We can’t believe we just found this place!!! The Mexican food was AMAZING!! The service was even better! Tyler did a great job of serving us and was very attentive!!! your drink was never empty and he checked on us several times during the meal. Started out with Queso fundido. Very good and loved the crispy cheese from the hot plate. We had the chicken chili relleno and beef/chicken combo alambres. The sauce on the relleno was delicious and the flavoring on the alambres was perfect. Rice and refried beans were authentic. They have three different hot sauces. The green was our favorite spicy, but not too bad. The red was also very good with a little more bite. The House salsa was pretty good, but not spicy enough for us. Also had a margarita that was very good. Prices are very reasonable!!! Evidently they do taco specials on Monday and Tuesday and have happy hours in the week. Only a couple of miles outside of Lee Summit in well worth the drive. We will definitely be back.

My favorite Mexican restaurant of all-time. All of my family agrees including my parents who travel to Mexico multiple times a year. I tell everyone I know to come here. They are very generous with the chips and salsa. If you want a spicy salsa? Ask for it. Every single item I've gotten here has been flavorful and delicious! Service has always been good. SUPPORT LOCAL! This is not a chain restaurant, this is a family owned business. If you're dining in, get the Queso Fundido. Bubbling queso served with chorizo. We get it without tomatoes, but it does come with them. You can get items with the fundido (queso and chorizo). Don't sleep on some of plates such as the Chile Rojo, Jalisco Special, and Alambres. Just look at all the dishes we had one night. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed! I rarely drink, but I have been told the margaritas are large and delicious!
