This is STILL by far my favorite place to eat in Greenwood. My husband and I walked in the door, and in less than 3Y minutes, we were greeted with a smile, seated, had chips, dips, menus, silverware & our drink order placed! Fastest service of anywhere we have ever been. We got our drinks and placed our order, and no kidding within 10 minutes we had our plates on the table! The plates were hot & the food was hot, fresh & delicious! (as usual, of course) We have been eating here since we moved to Greenwood in April of 2001, and we have NEVER had a bad experience. They have survived the test of time, and I would just like to add that so has our waitress who has been serving our table since we first started eating here! I think that speaks volumes about the management when their employees have worked there for a couple of decades! We ear there often, and she is always there, making me worry that she gets adequate days off?! Lol.. I love that she is always smiling and always friendly, and I just love it so much! No bad vibes here... Oh, and... as a Texan, I would just like to say their sweet tea is...
Read moreWe used to eat here all the time but in recent years food quality has declined drastically. We no longer eat here. The last time we ate here one of my party ordered a chili relleno. Instead of a savory, spicy stuffed battered chili they got pieces of a bell pepper stuffed with tasteless watery ground beef and a little cheese, minimal batter, no flavor. Another member of my party ordered a different dish filled with the exact same tasteless, watery unseasoned ground beef and cheese. The dish i ordered (i always order the same one or two things) was okay but it lacked the delicious flavor it has had in previous visits and it was very greasy. Poor quality ingredients, poor preparation and poor utilization of spices? The visit previous to this one was just as bad. I dont know if they are just hiring terrible cooks or they have some bad cost cutting policies but we refuse to eat here any longer. Its not...

She ordered Lunch Shrimp Fajitas, while I had Fajitas Del Mar (Lunch 19) Both orders came with 3 soft tortillas. I asked to leave the beans off, so they doubled the rice. The chips are made fresh, the salsa had a low slow heat and the queso had a good taste. The only disappointment was at checkout and exit. There is a 3% charge added to use a credit card, and the bench in the doorway makes it hard to get out when others are...
