I had a very unpleasant experience here today. I was ordering the rotisserie chicken sandwich on wheat. Let me first say I am very specific about my sandwich. Subway employees are Sandwich Artists so I don't or didn't consider my being specific a problem. There was only enough meat for one sandwich left so the young man put it on my six inch wheat bread. I asked him to put it on the bottom side. I moved down to the onions to see what they looked and said, "A few rings of onions". He asked if I wanted cheese. I said, "I want the onions on first." He put the onions on but I wanted him to spread them out. I'm sorry I don't want all of the onions in one bite. He prepared to break them and I hurriedly yelled, "No!" to stop him and said that's fine the way you have it. I moved to see if there was provolone cheese and said, "provolone cheese." I asked him to put it in the toaster. When he did, I told him I would be right back while that warmed. I needed to get my purse. I looked outside and saw my husband had already left the store and was in the van which was parked at the gas pump closest to the KFC door. I knew I could grab it quickly. When I returned the sanwich was just out and he was ready to continue. There was no problem there at least none that I was aware of. I said, "Mayo". He complied. "Lettuce." He put the lettuce on and I said, "A lot of lettuce." He did that and asked for spinach. He did that. "Tomatoes." As I looked at them I ntthey were greenish and asked if they had anymore. He said," they were all like that , they came that way on the truck. I understood so I asked for the ones thought were more ripe. He complied with two fromthe section I pointed out. I then asked for three. "Cucumbers." He put three and I asked for another. I asked him again to spread them out. To move them all the way to the ends. He replied, " You're very specific." I answered, " Yes, I'm very specific about my food. He responded , "If you're that specific, you need to make it at home." From the moment he said I was very specific, I knew there was a problem. I told him he didn't have to make my sandwich, She (the other young lady) could do it. He replied, "She doesn't want to make it either." I told him I didn't want him to make my sandwich anymore and asked the young lady if she would. He said, We don't want to serve you and picked the sandwich up and threw it in the trash." I asked him for his name because I would be contacting the owner. He walked toward the back.I asked for the manager. He turned around and told me we could go to them right now. I followed him to KFC where the manager was standing. I told her what he was very rude. He interrupted saying I yelled at him. I was taken aback by this. As I began to explain why or the manner in which I yelled, he proceeds to talk to me. I told him not to talk to me. He said, "See." I continued to explain the I yelled out of excitement not anger to stop like when an accident is about to occur. She dud say it was a miscommunication and I again said I was not angry or being aggressive when i yelled no and that was an excuse. Im a black woman, I know how how give attitude if thats what i was doing. He quickly let me know that he was black too. Again, misunderstanding and misinterpreting my words. He went to the back and continued to talk. I did tell him if he needed to say something to me he could. She came down to make the sanwich and I was thinking there would be resolve. Then, I realized that he had thrown the last of the meat in the trash. She agreed that there was no more rotisserie chicken and I left feeling very disappointed, nit only because I did not get my sandwich but with the treatment/service I received. I really want to make the owner of this establishment aware of this event in hopes that it doesn't happen to anyone else and that the employee understands how this could have...
Read moreTHIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SUBWAY THAT I HAVE EVER EVER EVER EVER BEEN TO. I USED THE APP TO ORDER SANDWICHES FOR MY HUSBAND AND I. AFTER WAITING FOR MY HUSBAND'S SANDWICH TO GET COMPLETED, I NOTICED THE SNOBBY ATTITUDE OF THE MANAGER. ONCE RETURNING HOME, I NOTICED THE BAGS MY SANDWICHES WERE IN WAS DRENCHED WITH VINEGAR AND OIL. THE SANDWICHES WERE SO DRENCHED, WE COULD ONLY EAT ONE HAVE OF THE FOUR SANDWICHES. WHEN MY HUSBAND CALLED THE STORE, THE MANAGER GAVE SUCH Unprofessionalism. SO, HE ENDS UP CALLING CORPORATE. AS I RETURNED TO THE STORE, THE MANAGER TOOK THE SANDWICHES THAT I BOUGHT BACK TO THE STORE IN ORDER TO GET THEM FIXED CORRECTLY AND THREW THEM IN THE GARBAGE. THE MANAGER SAID THAT SINCE Corporate WAS CALLED THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY CAN DO. SO I WENT HOME WITHOUT ANYTHING FOR MY HUSBAND AND I TO EAT. SONYA, SUPERVISOR WAS RUDE AS HELL AND THE OWNER, MONTE PATEL, WAS/IS CHILLING IN HAWAII WHILE MY SANDWICHES WERE NEVER REMADE AND MY $29.00 WAS NOT OFFERED. I WOULD RATHER FOR MY HUSBAND AND I EAT Garbage SANDWICHES INSTEAD OF GOING TO SUBWAY. LOOKS LIKE MY HUSBAND AND I ARE GOING TO HAVE TO SUE SUBWAY TO GET OUR MONEY BACK, PLUS SUFFERING FROM HUNGER, AND Embarrassment. HOPEFULLY, A QUINOS WILL BE HERE VERY VERY SOON!!! IF I COULD RATE A BELOW ZERO, I...
Read moreThe black female sandwich maker was rude and resentful.
I stood at the counter for several minutes while the 2 employees were having a good time on the back. I finally asked if they were open and the employee came storming out saying "we was on our way, you need to give us time". I told her good morning and asked how she was, she said "good, whatchoo want?".
I asked for a FL PRO, and she said "we ain't got not foot long pros". I couldn't understand her because she was mumbling so I kindly asked her to repeat. She repeated in a hostile tone.
I then asked for a foot long with double meat and cheese (FL PRO). Also to warm the steak before it was toasted.
She took the scooper into the back room and when she returned the scooper was dripping wet. I hope she only washed it but I am suspicious. She then started scooping the steak onto the bread so I reminded her that I would like the meat warmed prior to toasting. She let out a huff and began carelessly dumping the steak into the warmer tray.
No thank you or have a nice day or any other greeting.
My previous review was deleted by either subway...
