Absolutely horrible drive thru experience with this particular Runza location that I visited. First thing, I was told by an unfriendly and not apologetic worker at the drive thru window that I could not order a Runza because of a 17 minute wait. Apparently they didnāt not have these ready even though Runza is the name outside the building. Obviously being a ex-restaurants GM and having food ready by the manager on duty wasnāt doing his or her job correctly. I was not offered a substitute or discount for ordering something I did not want. Being as though I was working and this was a so-called fast food restaurant I didnāt have time for a 17 minutes wait. Also keep in mind I was the only person in the drive thru when I pulled up. Then I presided to order a hamburger as a substitute assuming that there would be some kind of discount for not having a Runza sandwich ready at a Runza Restaurant! Which I then asked the girl at the window to get a manager so I could speak with them about a discount, which she gave me an attitude about. Then came back with no manger and offered an incredible 10% discount, which I assume was an employee discount. So I decided to drive off with no food, because Iām my opinion and all the restaurants Iāve managed that was an insult to me for my inconvenience. Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately I have to admit that this Runza doesn't have quality control over their drive thru. On 5 separate trips to the Gretna Runza they made significant mistakes on our orders. Some examples include forgetting meals (which were paid for and on receipt), forgetting kids meals(also paid for and on receipt), smashing burgers into bag making them look unappealing, Each time we drove home and had to come back to pick up those items or called to let management know. Not once did they actually care.
Tonight was my husband's breaking point. He went in and showed them the mistakes and they said so what it was one mistake. One missing burger for a meal we paid for. They told my husband and daughter if they didn't like the service they could go elsewhere. Well, that is officially what we will be doing from now on because waiting 30 min in the drive thru for missing items and cold food is not the Runza we have loved and supported for years. They just looked at me like what are they supposed to do about that. Soda tasted way off, food had a after taste which wasn't pleasant. We asked for ranch cups they threw them into a bag and were not sealed so ranch leaked all over and my interior of my truck cause they soaked through the bag. Employees need to go through food safety touched and dug in trash and didn't was his hands. I asked for my receipt Charlie E. Looked at computer told me just a second turned in circles a couple times pulled my receipt out of trash and went back to computer and handed it to me.
