Soft open today and there is lots of people here! Coffee is pretty good too! I got a mocha. The restaurant area is very visually appealing too! Lots of places to sit too! They are well spaced apart too! Little disappointed in the mac and cheese. I originally ordered spinach and artichoke dip and pretzel bites for me and my little guys to eat but their truck didn't come in this morning with those ingredients on it, so we opt for mac and cheese. I feel like it's missing something. Maybe some hot sauce or more flavorful cheese. It is kinda plain but it is ok. I wish they had some kind of drink like a Carmelious (like Scooter's) or Java Chip Frappuccino (like Starbucks). I will definitely return at a later date to try the Spinach and Artichoke dip and the pretzel bites. I highly suggest checking it out though!

We went to the drive-through on NYE afternoon--since I had a postcard coupon for a free medium coffee that expired today. I ordered "Butterscotch" from the winter specialties menu. It didn't taste anything like butterscotch; it tasted like the way a kitchen smells when a pumpkin is being carved (raw squash). I really wanted to like it. I even added Splenda sweetener to it after I brought it home, but it didn't help. I was very disappointed. 😣

I finally stopped here for coffee on a cold, rainy afternoon. I pulled into the drive-thru and was greeted immediately. The girl recommended the Nutella latte when I asked what she recommended. I was in and out of the drive-thru in less than three minutes with a delicious drink! Plus they offered military discount, and I signed up for their rewards program. I can’t wait to come back to this location and try something different on their menu.

I really want to love the Gretna location because I’ve loved Stories since the location off 180th and was devastated when they closed. I was thrilled to hear this location was opening because it’s very close to where I live now.

I’ve been here many times since this location opened and always find myself hoping I came on an off day, but sadly, I think this is status quo. The coffee is just passably okay. The shop would benefit from hiring seriously experienced baristas who live and breathe coffee. The food is always disappointing. Nothing seems to be freshly made. The menu is subpar and limited and totally uninspired. I ordered a hummus ā€œplateā€ last week and received a plastic carton with watery hummus and shriveled vegetables. The condiment ā€œstation,ā€ which is a single plastic organizer for salt/pepper and sugar is never filled. The floor always looks like it hasn’t seen a broom or a mop since it opened. On a positive note, the staff I’ve interacted with are always friendly.

Other than sharing a name, it has nothing in common with the charming coffeehouse I fell in love with almost 10 years ago when I first moved to the area. I take no joy in leaving a negative review, but I really want this place to improve and realize its potential. Gretna sorely needs a great coffee house, and I really wanted this place to be it, but it’s not there yet by...

Gretna location - 9/28/2023 - about 8 am - Traveled about 10 miles to finally try out the new location that is in my daily path so very interested in its offerings. I know your a coffee shop but I have never had coffee and never will…I’m interested in snack and lunch items, that are fresh made and tastee to sit and work for awhile and enjoy.. I ordered a pop and bagel as this was the only ā€œfreshā€ thing I could find. The muffins and rolls were all frozen and in cooler section, not at all fresh. I asked for a toasted bagel well buttered. I received a very tired, hard thru and barely warmed…then received little tiny butter FROZEN! Just try spreading that before and possible warmth from the bagel is totally gone. VERY UPSET, I pack up and go to the counter to explain why I was leaving, not even taking a sip of pop or tasting the bagel, i got nothing, just more cold! One other person in shop…Figure out how to have one or two FRESH options for folks…this can be just 2 or 3 items so there is no waste, hire someone that can do this for you and you will be far and above all other...

We’ve always wanted to go here as it was in the area but we never managed to find a good time. We made it today and as we walked in, we noticed how beautiful the inside was. There was plenty of people and it was all very modern but sophisticated.

Service was very friendly, we received recommendations and also opinions about their food when we asked which is always nice. The coffee was about on par for a coffee place, it wasn’t mind blowing but it wasn’t cheap tasting either.

Unfortunately the food leaves a lot to be desired. Ultimately paying $10.25 for a turkey BLT was super disappointing. That sandwich looked like it cost no more than $2 to make and it was very bland, dry bread. Tasted good but huge buyers remorse for the food.

We also tried the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. The sausage patty seemed to be a millimeter thick so you can tell they’re skimping.

Overall 3/5. Avoid the food fully but coffee is good. Seems like a nice...
