Catarina's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Griffin

This was not a good experience. I got the Cowboy Special, which is rice, chicken, and queso mixed together. My rice was still crunchy. My children got chicken tenders and fries off of the kid's menu. The chicken tenders and the fries all tasted bad. Even my youngest child, who loves food and eats almost everything we give her, wouldn't eat her food. My husband got chicken nachos. His chicken was the best part of the meal, but the chips and cheese were not good at all. Also, the server never came by our table to see if we needed a refill. Not even once. I had to get up and walk up to the server to even get our bill. Also, the food was room temperature when we got it. Nothing was hot. Plus, there were only 4 of us. We each got a meal and a drink, and it cost us $52. It was not worth the price!! My meal cost $10.95 and it was a kid-size plate. This was a horrible experience. We will not be coming back here! I do not recommend this...

If I could I would give this restaurant a zero for effort My daughter cousin and I visited the restaurant and food was cold after speaking with the owner he was hostile and very aggressive with his action decided he would not refund us money for the food we decided to call Griffin police department they made it no better they took his side and all of them were very unprofessional and stated that we we’re getting criminal trust passing charges keep in mind we only wanted a refund and they laughed acted very racist and thought the whole situation was funny please do not patronize this business due to racism against black people follow the video on IG at new.nikee and see it for yourself this is America where many white officers are still practicing...

I was really disappointed on my first time here with my children. The host wasnt very friendly coming in, he seemed more annoyed at us for arriving. My server wasn't very friendly or attentive (I'm a server, I know what it takes) but she was quick with food. I ordered a daiquiri, never received it. My chicken breasts were paper thin,chewy, and hidden under a huge douse of onions, and my double rice was a single serving. My children enjoyed their meals, not sure why their "Mexican Burger" is listed as such when its a normal burger. I've heard wonderful things about this joint to leave...
