Chick-N-Run — Restaurant in Griffin

Used to LOVE this place, but ever since I complained about their young guy at the pick up window being wildly inappropriate and basically withholding my food at the window to flirt which wouldn’t have been a big deal but I was so uncomfortable because this was the about the 3rd time it happened, and my child was with me and was super confused as to why the young guy kept saying these comments, I’ve been treated soooo rudely everytime I go. Last time my husband went they were rude to him, so I spoke to an assistant manager and was assured the issue was handled and it wouldn’t happen again. Not to mention that when I did call and complain I was apologetic for even complaining and made sure to say I didn’t want the dude to lose his job and before complaining to the manager my husband went up there and told the young guy to stop just so we wouldn’t have to complain and him get in trouble. Tonight I went, and sure enough the window was slammed in face and another person came to the window and wouldn’t even crack a smile even though I was so respectful and overly nice regardless of how I was treated. They were so concerned with being rude that almost all of my order was wrong or missing, cold and honestly this is the second time we’ve been since this whole thing and my order has been like this, I can’t help but to think it’s on purpose. We have been getting take out from Chicken Run for years. Lately the service has been very bad. On our last visit, my husband picked up an order I had called in. When he got home, half of the items we ordered were missing and the box of okra we ordered was only half full of okra and had assorted broken pieces of fries and onion rings in the other half. I called the restaurant but waited on hold for 15 minutes with no one ever answering. I drove another 15 minutes back to the restaurant, took the food they gave us back, and asked if they could just remake our order so that everything would be hot and fresh at the same time. I was told that they were only allowed to remake the sides I was missing but not our sandwiches. I explained that it had already been 45 minutes since we got the order and by the time I waited for them to remake sides and got back home, the once hot fried sandwiches would no longer be any good to eat. I felt they should remake the whole order since all of the sides I ordered were either wrong or entirely missing and our sandwiches would have been cold and no good by the time they replaced the missing items. They refused, so I asked for and was given a refund. I know that mistakes happen and I certainly wasn’t angry about it. Usually i have a great experience but tonight my order was wrong . I ordered chicken wings and got tenders . I do not like the seasoning on the tenders and i dont think it pairs well with the buffalo wing sauce . So i knew not to order tenders . I tried them once without the Buffalo sauce and did not like the seasoning, so i knew not to order tenders again. The music in there is always way too loud . I think my order would have been better heard had the music been much lower . I did not tell the cashier my order was wrong for the simple fact that i only had time to eat breakfast this day because my day was very busy . I didn’t want to wait any longer for another meal to be cooked so i just tried to eat what was brought out . I ate one tender and sent the rest home with my son . I would ask that you please cut the music to a normal level so cashiers can hear orders correctly. I like dining in a peaceful establishment. Idk if it’s loud because of the young workers or not .
