What an absolutely amazing addition to Pike County... This was such a "sweet" surprise to find located at the Pike Plaza. We noted the fun family friendly atmosphere immediately from the parking lot with the cute candy land holiday displays. My kids and their family loved the dine-in opportunity for this chilly weekend. I also noted outdoor dining for summer and spring seasons. The design and color scheme brings so much happiness to my kids. We expected ice cream but not an entire candy store selection. The display at the counter had so many bakery options. I noted many cookies, brownies, chocolates, pretzels, cookie cake, candy apples with adorable custom designs, and so much more! They also had adorable toys and novelty candy/gummies to choose from. The selection of ice cream was wonderful as well. I noted many seasonal flavors as well as classic options for every age. They even had sugar free options. My kids liked that they had different flavors of "cookie" ice cream cones to pick from. They also had the usual cups or waffle cones to pick from. We took time to admire many of the hand painted/hand crafted accents that were in this store front as well. I would recommend coming in for the artistry alone, it's such a photo op. The ice cream was delicious, my kids really enjoyed the mint chocolate chip and I am obsessed with the praline flavor now. I would recommend this to any families visiting the area. It will now be on my kids radar for years to come. I cannot rave enough about how excited they were with this visit. This was the cutest scoops location that we have ever visited. You also can't go wrong with slices next door. Just grab dinner then swing by for dessert....

Food: Wow, just Wow! I order 3 scoops in a cup(banana pudding, caramel cheesecake, strawberry) Huge chunks of strawberry. It brought back memories. It's been ages since I had genuinely good ice cream. Creamy, rich and flavorful. My only complaint is, I felt the spoon was going to break everytime I went in for me. But the spoon held up. I'll be back and back again. Prices are ok. Not to high, not to low. Hope they remain decent.

Service: Friendly welcoming staff. I was greeted right away. The staff offered assistance with questions about ice cream flavors and allowed me to sample a flavor.

Atmosphere: Colorful inviting atmosphere. I only noticed 3 small high tables with two - three high chairs. Most seating is outside, but there's plenty. I see they offer some sodas, appeal, candy( cotton candy, worms) toys( smalls truck, bears) ect.. Seems everyone can grab...

I have 5 kids who love to go to, “The Ice Cream Shop” as my little ones call it. It’s definitely a hit or miss depending who’s working and if the manager is there or not. I have been told by more than one employee that if a flavor isn’t available, they always have it in the back so just ask! So when my cherry flavor isn’t in the freezer window, I do just that… I ask for them to check the back. No one is ever willing to do that when I was specifically told they could! Just aggravating because this place isn’t cheap and it’s hard to even sit down and enjoy the $75 spent on our family of 7 when there’s literally ONE inside table. No one wants to go outside around all the flies and trash cans and let the money you just spent melt in 100...
