I'm giving two stars because of the girls who work there, who were both very helpful! Reading the reviews I was expecting alot from this restaurant, I guess the locals like what they like but I was not impressed...at all! I paid almost $40 on what looked like kiddie portions, ordered the 3 pc chicken tenders basket. They were so overcooked, small and frail looking, something that would definitely go in a kiddie meal for a toddler. Anytime you can fit 3 tenders in a small tray and still have room, you may need to reevaluate what you're selling especially if it's not a kids meal. Ordered the 6pc nuggets, not even going to discuss those. Then comes the 2 pc fish meal, I expected filets or strips (almost $10) but was given two overcooked frozen cod squares that you would use for sandwiches. A foot long slaw dog, that didn't even get eaten...the slaw wasn't the best. Finally the steak sandwich, I had so much hope for it, but it was left out of my order and had to be brought out separately...glad I didn't drive the 30 mins home only to discover it was missing. It was cold, bun hard. I have been driving by this place for years, and finally decided to try it business seems to be good. People were in and out, but this is a place I will leave for...
Read moreI grew up in GRIFFIN and I remember going to Griffiths Drive in,not drive thru mind you, I remember going there as a little boy and being amazed how you got served, you know you pull up beside the menu board roll your window down,(yes we had to roll with a handle) and once my mom gets all the little screaming kids orders she would press the button on the board and magically someone would talk to her then after a few minutes someone would appear at the driver side door with a tray of food but the best part for me was they hung it on the window. as a kid that just was so cool. anyway I can't ever remember that icon in Griffin not being there, I know it used to be called A@W for many years before the previous owner bought it and thank God for him because he kept it from being closed down and that would have been a shame so thank you for that.. I know none of this has nothing to do with the service they have today but just remember whenever you pull up to the menu you pull...
Read moreTo the young girl who gave me my momma and aunt a magnet I just want to say thank you. My momma grew up in griffin and moved to Atlanta over 35 years ago. We always make a trip once a year to come back and clean the grave plots of our relatives since we have 5 generations here. Griffiths is always a must stop for us when we come. It has always been a tradition of our family’s since I was a little girl to eat here and go clean the graves afterwards. We all collect magnets from places we have been to and were pleasantly surprised when we saw these on the drink machine while ordering. The older lady that was working didn’t want to give or sell them away but the young girl helped and we just wanted to express our appreciation. It may not mean a lot to most but for myself who has been coming here for 30 years once a year it means a lot. We love this place and will continue to come back for our annual griffin trip every year ❤️...
