I’ve driven by this cafe many times always wanting to try it. My husband and I finally took the time to stop in, I am a big coffee person and the both of us love trying new food spots. This was definitely a disappointing one for us. I got an everything bagel with cream cheese thinking it would be a safe option. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad bagel, this is definitely a first for that. Texture and taste were very off, it somehow lacked flavor completely. I’ve made bagels homemade before and I’m not sure how they could be messed up. It just tasted like mediocre bread. We also ordered a croissant, it seemed store bought. It definitely was not an authentic croissant. Very bready. Not flaky what so ever. My husband got the pork scramble which had all the right ingredients to taste good but unfortunately had no flavor/seasoning. Lastly, I got a hot latte. This was by far the most disappointing for me. It had a pretty presentation but it was extremely burnt and bitter tasting. The sweetener could not mask the bitter taste. I only took a few sips. Unfortunately everything looked good, but the flavors were not there. We will stick to going into Boston for good coffee...
Read moreNever will return. I mistakenly gave them a tip and I did all the work. I got cold toast with cold butter.. Never ordered the sausage. It’s like shoe, leather peppery hard shoe leather. Not sure what is wrong with the eggs my eggs over easy anywhere else is much better. And some of them weren’t over easy.. If you like your home fries, greasy and undercooked with lots of pepper spice and slivers of onion and slivers of peppers in it and pay a lot for your food to pick ups. They fill your coffee to the brim so you can’t even walk then they give you a stick with the number on it to hang onto and leave the Creamers for the coffee in the middle of the floor so you have to keep cutting back-and-forth through a line to get near your table and God help you if you have to get butter or salt or sugar or plastic spoon or fork, a knife and napkins while you’re trying to manage two coffees filled to the absolute rim Fighting traffic while children are running around trying to bump you on the...
Read moreThis place was rockin when we came in. There were few people ahead of us and more piled in as we were standing in line. You'd think with the amount of busy this place was, the ordering process would be more transactional, but it was patient and friendly.
I don't want to say the drinks were fancy, but it was an upscale coffee experience. The sandwiches were packed with flavor and just the right portion.
The scone wasn't sweet at all. If I had it again, I might have had it with a slightly sweeter drink. The pop tart was perfect with a hot cup of black coffee.
Our seat against the wall was weirdly drafty and there was a point where so many people were waiting for to-go orders that they were towering over where we were sitting. Neither thing would stop us from coming back. As a matter of fact, we will be back. The food was too good and the menu is long not to have something else.
Street parking was free and easy. Spacious...
