Honky's — Restaurant in Grove City

Hands down my favorite bar in Minnesota, the specialty decor and ambiance shine. Amazing food with all local meat from Carlsons Butcher Shop, the whole menu is stellar (Boss Hog, candied bacon, honky fries ftw), great shots (The Honky Bomb), Honky Sized Busch Beer, and their signature beef sticks are the best I have ever had. The drinks are also excellent, check out their rail, it is what many would consider top shelf elsewhere and the prices are still cheaper than most. I ended up stopping on Honky's while traveling on 12 to visit family. It wasn't planned but needed a driving break. I had never been there before. Bars in small towns can be hit or miss but I'm really glad I stopped. Staff was amazingly friendly. I ended up talking to the owner and he was a great guy. Turns out it's named Honky's after a family member that passed away. The bar had great vibe and atmosphere. The bar seemed very clean and well kept. I didn't try the food but enjoyed one or two of their speciality shots. I will definitely try the food next time....

Wow! The burgers here are wonderful! Our table had a couple of bacon cheese burgers and chicken strips with Honky’s seasoned round cut fries. Meals all came with slaw and seasoned dip.
