Bottoms Up Food & Spirits — Restaurant in Groveland Township

This was the absolute worst food I ever ate. We ordered onion rings, fried pickles, breadsticks and a med pizza- well done. You would have thought we said "hey can you burn everything to a crisp?" The onion rings and fried pickles came out and the fried pickles were literally blackened. So they were extremely over cooked on the inside to. Onion rings were crispy but not as bad as the rest. Then our breadsticks came out, burnt to a crisp- at that point they probably could have been used as weapons. To top it off they had no sort of butter or seasoning or anything just baked dough. And the garlic cheese dip was more garlic then anything else. Then this disaster of a pizza was brought out-- yes we did ask for it well done but not burnt 😡 who the heck was cooking??! I couldn't even eat more then one piece bc I could barely chew it, it was so hard and crispy. And the sauce was unfortunately extremely blah. And we were supposed to get a garlic butter crust that must of been burnt off on the oven? Who knows. So for onion rings, fried pickles, breadsticks, a med pizza and two pops it came out to $40, which would have been acceptable if any of this food was edible. Over all my experience with the food was horrible. And I would never return to this establishment. I would like to give a 5 star to our waitress tho, I believe her name was Cora? She was very nice and kept checking back with us and made sure we had refills throughout. And we choose not to bring our concerns to her attention bc at this point the place was starting to get very busy and she was working her butt off making sure all her tables were taken care of. She was the only person really actually working. She did ask how we liked the pizza I told her, ugh really. And she was very amp to try to help or fix the situation, I just explained to her that I know she wasn't back there cooking and I knew how busy she was so she didn't have to worry about it. Bc she was a great waitress over all. She needs a raise! The bartender Shannon on the other hand was more worried about flirting with the customers at the bar, I'm sure to improve her tip but she let one gentlemen sit there for over 5 mins while she was just chatting with some drunken man and then walks over to the customer like she was so surprised he was sitting there and acted like she had been blind sided and not saw him while he was only merly 4 seats away from where she was standing. Not an establishment I would ever recommend or go back...

My boyfriend took me here for some food while we were out on his bike. We stopped here and while the property looks cool with the nice patio and volleyball courts. We sat ourselves at a regular table and got something to drink while we looked at the menu. Everything was extremely over priced. Whoever made the menu really likes thousand island dressing and the price of 17$... We ordered 2 sandwiches that came with potato chips. The sandwiches were 17 bucks and close in comparison to a 7/11 sandwich. I actually may have had a better sandwich from the gas station down the street. As we waited for our food we began to notice how dirty it was in there. There was garbage and rotten pieces of limes all over the floor. The tables didnt sit without a hard wobble and the chairs were hard as a rock. This is place is out of their mind and we will never eat there again. I used to love this place as a local and now im embarrassed to even recommend this place to friends and family. Our waitress was too busy lollygagging around at the bar to wait on us and the bartender actually cane and checked on us instead as she seen our waitrsss was MIA. I am not one to go out of my way to complain, but you guys need to get it right and do better. The service was not great and it wasn't busy either. As a restaurant you would think you would want to leave an impression that makes customers want to return instead of making them cringe. I would love to say id give this place another opportunity but I work hard for my money and I would never waste another dollar to find out. Do yourself a favor and take a hard pass on this one. We stay at a nearby RV campground as my wife is a traveling nurse. We are always trying many new to us establishments for all sorts of services. This place was recommended to us so last night we had pizza and cheesebread. We ordered cheesebread as recommended by another review. Both were very delicious! Not only did they throw down some great pizza & bread their service was at the same level. When we're jonesin' for pizza this will be our pizza spot for the duration of our stay in the area. Updated review While we have ordered carryout pizza from this establishment one other time since the initial review as we did again this evening I have to make a note regarding their service. We phoned in our order and I went over to pick it up. I got there and WASN'T greeted. I stood at the bar and three servers behind the bar all saw me as eye contact was made with each of them. Not a single one of them acknowledged me. Not one. None asked if I needed anything. Not a "I'll be with you shortly". Absolutely nothing. I very well may have not been standing there at all. At least 3 to 4 minutes passed before one asked if I needed anything. It was upsetting to say the least. I let my wife know of the experience I just had with them and she let me know that she had the same experience . She was not acknowledged by anyone and had to let them know she was there for a pickup. Service here is unfortunate, reducing the initial 5 stars to 3 for the service or...
