I thought the Google map gave me the wrong location, but it was right so donāt let the looks for you. I am not a bone in chicken person, but I will say these were one of the best Iāve had in a very long time. Boneless is also available which I donāt see very often. I donāt usually order wings, except for one specific place. we had the lemon pepper and hot honey flavor fried crispy and tossed twice it was lip smacking lol. UPDATE: we ordered a chopped cheeseburger and wings and let me tell you that was the absolute best burger I have had in such a long time. I cannot wait to order another one. Made fresh to order and everything was just delicious.
Everything is cooked fresh to order and the owner is super helpful and courteous and made sure we were happy with our order.
There is no seating inside, but it is clean and the menu has me interested in coming back to check out all of the wing flavors and the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm absolutely a wing fanatic, and Spice Wing gets a big stamp of approval! The location is all the way in the back of an industrial complex, so it's hard to notice just driving by, but I'm so glad we found them online. It's a quick turn off the road between Clermont and Groveland, plenty of parking, and our order was ready within 15 minutes of placing online.
I split a 20-piece with a friend and we tried the Hot Buffalo, Lemon Pepper, and Honey Lemon Pepper.
The wings were perfectly cooked and crispy, with tons of flavor. The sauce and seasoning were just the right texture, none of that fake soybean oil.
I thought they were very similar in style to Wing Stop (which I greatly enjoy) while my friend liked them even better.
It's a fairly small takeout window / lobby, but the crew inside still gave me a friendly greeting and there was no wait to pick up our order.
Thank you Spice Wing, we will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSpice wing appears to be a franchise chain with locations mainly in Georgia but expanding throughout the south and southwest. I went to the Groveland location in the Hunt Industrial Park. All told my bill was 17 dollars for ten wings, garlic Parmesan waffle fries, and a lemonade. Itās a pretty good deal considering how expensive food is getting and the quality of the wings. The fries were partially soggy by the time I got them home which is a testament to the freshness of the wings. The combo comes with two sauces, I chose sriracha glaze and kickin bourbon. The menu gives it a 1/3 spicy rating and honestly thatās too generous. Itās not spicy to the standard of ordinary sriracha.
These are definitely top tier wings and itās a bonus when you are personally greeted by the owner. Just donāt come here for the atmosphere. Being in an industrial park, this is not the place to come sit...
