Soul Smoked BBQ LLC — Restaurant in Guilford Township

We had the pleasure of having our daughter's graduation picnic catered by Soul Smoked BBQ and my goodness was it awesome!!! TJ and his wife pulled up and went right to work! Unfortunately they could stay and hang out with us and had they stayed they would have seen the looks, smiles and taken in all the rave on they're food. It was the hit of the picnic!!! Brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork, ribs, collard greens, beans, Mac and cheese and Cole slaw was our menu and let me tell you it was absolutely amazing. From the time I started talking with TJ it was like I was talking to an old friend. He was very helpful in making sure we had the right portions for the event and just making sure we were going to eat real good on that day. We got our money's worth for sure!! Thank you TJ and your crew for your hard work and the best damn BBQ on the planet you almost made me smack my momma lol but unfortunately she likes to swing back !!!!! You all helped make our daughter's day amazing!! There was no taking food home after this event everyone ate, ate and ate again until it was gone omg it was crazy walking around watching and talking to everyone. All I kept hearing was man I'm going back up to get more of this, more of that it was just crazy lol your stack of business cards gone bruh GONE!!!!! Thank you again Soul Smoked BBQ...

This soul-satisfying Barbecue is truly one of a kind, especially for our area. You can't go wrong with the prices, and you can't go wrong with the selections. The bark on the brisket lent to the soft spice the pervaded the juicy and tender quality of the meat. The pulled pork utilized the same softness of the spices but did not take away from from the general flavor of the meat. T.J. is a true master, and it's only going to get better.

They have great service. I felt like I was meeting friends; they wanted to know what I thought and how I was doing. I left knowing I'd be coming back because I can't wait to try the chicken as well. And I can't wait to talk to them again

The green beans even reminded me of soul food, and you can't go wrong with the smoked mac and cheese.

Seriously. Get it. Did I mention that they'll be open during the winter and that they even CATER events?

And, nope. I'm not getting paid for this review. I'm just ecstatic that I finally found delicious BBQ not far away.

I just hope that T.J. will consider a dinner special that provides a meat sampler. I'd pay for that...

Absolutely to-die-for delicious ribs! So tender the meat practically falls off the bone. Love the BBQ sauce already on the ribs; slightly sweet with tons of smoky flavor. We also got the pulled pork which is so juicy and flavorful as a sandwich, or just alone with some Cole slaw & potato salad. Very tender and shredded perfectly. And the potato salad…my favorite part of the completely delicious meal! It’s obvious the potato salad is made from scratch: Big tender chunks of red potatoes slathered in a mustard-type mayo mixture with tons of spices that is so delicious I can’t stop eating it! We’ve stopped by before where they were nearly out of everything; not surprised with BBQ this good! The owner told us to call ahead the day before if we want anything particular.
