Fayetteville Antique Mall — Attraction in Guilford Township

We have been visiting this Antique and craft mall for about 7 years , and have been here about 20 times already , we travel out from Eastern part of Long Island to see Gettysburg and this Antique Mall... We have been many places across the country and I have to say this is the best !!!! and the employees are very friendly and helpful!!!! We have a little dog that we keep in a stroller and they really got to know our dog and from day one have never turned us away because of the dog a very big ++++ Hotels are very close and very inexpensive.... You will spend hours here if you love antique's , children also will love it, something for everyone here !!!!!! Every year we bring friends or relatives with us, We are heading out there again June 26th for the weekend and again will have family with us, We tell everyone here on Long Island about this place........ Bait & Switched! I was shopping at the Fayetteville Antique Mall on June 01, 2024 around 11:00AM. I saw an item in a locked; glass display case that I wanted to purchase. I asked a girl working the register to open the case and get me that item. When the worker opened the locked display case and was getting my item. This worker pulled out a second price tag from underneath my item. She made a point to tell me that there is a differently marked price for the same item and she needed to check on this. After a short while and after talking to two other employees. She also said she could not reach the seller and that if I wanted to purchase the item. I would have to pay the highest price tag which was hidden under the item in the locked display case. That difference was 10x higher than what I saw in the display case. Caveat Emptor ~ Not a good way...

We were hoping to browse but there are not dog-friendly (No matter how well behaved). My wife went in to peek while we stayed outside and in her very brief browse she got more of a garage sale type vibe (Read: More junk, than actual antique) but that was only one buiding. There are several and she did not pop into the others. By the looks of the photos from other contributors, it seems like other building had nice vendors\stalls. Her opinion was at first glance so maybe you should give it more consideration that we did. Just remember - Not pet friendly so if you're traveling with family (Your pet) then you should be aware of this consideration.
