Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Guin

We stopped here on our way to the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. We stood in line for about 15 minutes behind 2 hunters. We finally had our order taken and paid. We asked for a refund after waiting for 15 minutes after paying. We watched the staff run around Luke chickens with their heads cut off to try to straighten up and put time labels on things like tea due to the health inspector walking in while we were there. One employee threw away hasbrown bites for the entire time we were waiting. When we asked for our money back Noone knew how to refund us so we just had to wait for our food. Mind you, we were the only 2 people in line waiting for food. It was an experience that will prevent my husband or I from EVER stopping at another Jack's. It was absolutely ridiculous! I have NEVER wrote a bad review, or a review at all, but my husband went to get a milkshake, a large fry, and 2 cookies. He was asked to pull up while they cooked the fries. He waited 30 something minutes, and someone finally came out and asked what he ordered. He watched at least 10 vehicles get their order and leave. It’s the only place in Guin to serve breakfast is the only reason I go back. My order is never right. We are always in a rush and never can check it there. Trying to call to inform them something was messed only to not get an answer. We inform them the next day and get told we should have called. Leaving a message on the web site doesn’t help.
