Good Times Sports Bar — Restaurant in Gulfport

This is a bar located off of Klein Road and Dedeaux Road in Gulfport…. It is conveniently located in an area that was once known as Orange Grove. From what I have gathered, it has been in the same location a long time. It has good bar food open spaces and areas so you do not feel like you are squashed. They offer a large selection of bottled beer. And of course, the bartenders J.J. and Taylor, are knowledgeable and can make any drink that you desire. Try a bloody Mary they make them excellent or a margarita! And oh my word yes they have a pinball machine so retro and a cigarette machine along with a Ms pack man can you believe it? They also have a large area available to throw darts old school no electronic boards here. Okay, this is kind of a neighborhood bar (aka a little bijou) and, that's perfect for myself and my family. I haven't met a bartender that works there that I haven't liked yet. I am not what you would call a "bar-fly" but, I do enjoy a night out with my husband and/or family and, this tucked away gem is perfect for our needs. The bar is pretty well stocked and the staff are kind, efficient, and fun. The "regulars" for the most part are friendly and there is a healthy mix of customers of all ages. They have a number of pool tables and dartboards. The areas where you play your games are spaced pretty well (no bumping butts or spilling drinks yay). They have karaoke and occasionally live bands. I typically like smaller bars when I have the opportunity to go out. It's been years since I've been here but was not disappointed.

Drinks were reasonable, service was fast and the pool tables were great.

I don't like the way you stink like stake cigarettes after leaving most bars and I was very impressed that despite the small size of this place the smoke smell was not bad and I didn't feel like I had to wash my clothes as soon as I walked in the door.
