Waffle House — Restaurant in Gulfport

Ok, I am not a complainer nor do I normally give negative reviews. But... as we walked in we were greeted right away, but when looking for table there was not even 1 clean one .... mind u this is at 5 am on a sunday. They were behind counter just talking to eachother, only 2 customers beside us on 1 table. We ordered orange juice and coffee, which both had to be made. OJ needed mixed and put in cooler ... coffee totally empty. We ordered our food, and IT was served totally cold, not like warm but cold. Grits hung together in big chunks like straight out of fridge. Hubby went to bathroom and toilet nasty, floor covered with tp and other stuff. Ladies room was clean. When we left, none of the dirty tables were touched yet.. As we went outside a nice gal with the pink bows and breast cancer earrings came in to starr work and I think she was a blessing in disguise for that place as she looked like a hands on kind a girl. But shame on the other two !!!!! Waffle house ... our fave breakfast place to go !!! Bit sadly ... not...

I walked into my local waffle house to pick myself up some food. I placed my order and told the waitress I wanted the meal to go. When I received my bill there was a 20% to go tax on it...20%!!!! Are you people out of your minds. 20 % just for you to put my food into a plastic container instead of on a plate. I planned on tipping my waitress however you people can explain to your waitress that the reason she didn't recieve a tip is flat out simple. Your own greed!!! I could understand a 5% or maybe even 10% to pay for cutlery to go containers etc. But 20% is just flat out robbing your customers and now your staff! You should be ashamed of yourselves asking this of your customers when NO OTHER restaurants do this local or corporate! Do better by your people and by your customers...

I spent $39 I got a grits bowl and all star and an order of hash browns. My friend knew the waitress LeLe was on her name tag.. so when she handed us the bag I tied it up and we went home. I got home and my hash browns that I ordered we're not in the bag they were very pleasant when we ordered our food and stuff so I figured it wouldn't be an issue to go back obviously I didn't have the food the black woman I didn't get her name that was cooking was rude she yelled at me that she made the food she definitely made it and and that lele put it in the bag and there's nothing they can do. They were the most rude unhelpful people when they made a mistake clearly I'll be calling their manager in the morning to have the cameras rolled back hopefully they can do that because...
