Buena Vista Restaurante — Restaurant in Gurabo

Last January 28,2025, was my birthday. A couple of friends went to this restaurant to spend time with me and celebrate my life! It was our first time there. The experience was perfect. We enjoyed the atmosphere, service and the food! The beverages we tried were nicely done: the white sangria, Black Label with Perrier and lime, beers were chilled. We asked for appetizers like: chorizos al vino croquetas de bacalao, pimientos de piquillo rellenos de carne al vino y tentáculos de pulpo a la brasa. Everything was delicious. For main dishes, we tried: "biftec encebollado,fettuccine de mariscos, fettuccine con salmón, fettuccine con churrasco, mofongo de jueyes, mofongo con ropa vieja ". The food was perfectly cooked and tasty. Prices are reasonable and competitive. Our waitress was excellent, great service, friendly and attentive. I went with some friends. Everything was awesome, including the wine, service and environnent, until my food came. I asked for the "angus' picadillo" with white rice and ripe plaintains. I told the Server not to include the fried egg that the dish had in the Menu. To my surprise, meat was dry and not so tasty, and it only came with three small pieces of ripe plantain. I was hungry, so I ate it all. 🙄 However, my friends asked for the breaded meat and parmesan chicken and they were delicious. But the best of all, was the Carrot Cake...superb !!! I may give them another opportunity, but Gurabo have so many other good places, so that is something I need...

I recently visited this site, and the experience was not pleasant at all. For starters I ordered two drinks and an appetizer, Havana cocktail and sex in the river, these came with a lot of ice and no essence, however the appetizer was good. For the main course I ordered mofongo con ropavieja, the mofongo felt dry and the meat was excessively salty, however the other dish, good view rice, was the worst of the night; Bad taste, the smell of the chicken on the plate was unbearable, and the rest of the meat was undercooked and tasteless. I would not return to this place, and I would not recommend it either, yes, the waitress's attention...
