Peacock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Gurabo

Let me say that when I take my time to write a review, that it has to be really good or really bad. I love this place and it was just our first visit. The food was good. the coffee could have been hotter but tasted good. The service was good. We enjoyed the jazz music being played, the a.c. is a plus as well as the decor…some people were surprised when they walked in as I could tell. I loved the details of the dinnerware and spoons because it shows style. I smiled too because my husband was shaking his head oh no she found a favorite brunch place!!! Please...

The place is well decorated and good ambiance. The food is average. Unfortunately, the service is not that good. When you enter to the restaurant, none of the employees greet you, you need to wait until somebody pays attention to you and ask you what do you want. They have a telephone number but you call and no answer. The staff is not attentive to the customer needs. They have a good spot but they need to improve and pay more attention, plus train...

Desde nuestra llegada, la experiencia fue una mezcla de buena intención mal ejecutada. La host fue amable al recibirnos y nos tomaron la orden de inmediato: cafés, bebidas y platos de entrada. Las bebidas y entradas llegaron... excepto el café, el cual tuve que recordar. Pasaron unos 30 minutos sin seguimiento alguno, e intenté llamar la atención de la mesera varias veces sin éxito, hasta que tuve que alzar la voz para que finalmente retirara los platos de entrada y tomara la orden principal.

Para nuestra sorpresa, vimos a la misma mesera salir del local hacia el estacionamiento —aparentemente terminando su turno— sin informarnos que otra persona se haría cargo. Inaceptable. La comida principal se tardó exactamente una hora en llegar, con solo cuatro mesas ocupadas en todo el lugar (dos de ellas llegaron después de nosotros). Lo peor: la comida llegó fría.

Solicité la cuenta al momento de recibir la comida... nunca llegó. Me vi obligado a levantarme y pagar directamente en caja, donde encima me cobraron el café que nunca llegó. El personal lucía serio, descoordinado y sin comunicación alguna entre ellos.

Le di una oportunidad al lugar a pesar de las reseñas negativas que había leído, pero lamentablemente comprobé que eran ciertas. No pienso regresar.
