I haven't returned to this restaurant in a long time. On this visit we ordered several dishes. Chicken chicharrones (which are really breaded boneless dark meat chicken) with rice and "pana" tostones. The chicken was good and juicy. The pana tostones were frozen, not fresh. The rice of the day was one with ham; it was tasteless and I left almost everything. We ordered a chicken breast with garlic sauce and another in mushroom sauce. They tell me they were good. The tostones were fresh, they had a good flavor but a little too soft for my taste. The mofongo was good and the fried meat was a bit tough. The service was a little slow. I had to stand from the table to ask for the menus. We asked for non bottled water and in the end they charged us for bottled water. We mentioned it to the waitress and she corrected it. Overall with the experience of this visit and the previous ones, I would say I recommend it if you are in the area and looking...
Read moreIt is a restaurant where you and your family can enjoy a delectable meal. It displays a rustic decor with patriotic emblems. The service was quite speedy and the waitress was polite and hospitable. They greet you with a 4 ounce cup of homemade, tasteful chicken stew courtesy of the house. The mofongo was soft and tasty stuffed with shrimps, chicken and skirt steak which was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place. This is quality food served throughout the whole course. I would...
Read moreI had high expectations, but flavor left a lot to be desired. If you are in the area and are not particular about food quality, this is an inexpensive option with plenty of parking. And bring cash for tips, the owner does not allow you to include it in the bill so he can save the 3% merchant fee. This also explains the food lack of quality. Cheap...
