One of the most comfortable and delightful dining experiences from service to food and atmosphere. Went right around dinner time on a Friday night and was helped right away and seated. Waiter with water within a minute along with menus. Asked meal option questions for those needing substitutions and given time to check out the menu and make selections. The table had a meatball and pasta dish, a grilled shrimp and plantains, and a grilled chicken with Spanish rice. All delicious and cooked to order and out to us within 20 to 25 mins. I was with my wife, my daughter and my father-in-law. First time at this restaurant recommend by my father-in-law. Was he right. For appetizers we had Mini- Alcapurrias and Tuna Tartare they were flavorful. Our main plates were: I had Grilled Chicken with Onions and Mamposteao Rice; my wife and father-in-law had Shrimp a la Creole with Sweet Plantains and my daughter had Rissoto with Salmon with Sweet Potato fries. With our plates we also had Squash and Zucchini salad. The Mamposteao Rice was delicious one of the best I ever tasted. I had a Passion Fruit Sangria boy that was good. Our lunch was expensive and horrible. I got fish tacos. The fish was like 2 1/2 inches 2 inches. We got there right at 12 when they opened. My fish appeared to be from the day before and refried just for me. It was disgusting! It was so bad, I felt bad feeding it to the resident cat. We got 4 very small acapurias that, too, had been refried to serve hot. Greasy as heck. They were also 9.00! They were tiny and aweful. My husband ordered seafood salad. It was like 20.00 and came in a small cup…maybe 3/4 cup. This place was pretty good the first time I went there…but this was my second time…and my last.
