I usually like these small town places but, this one was not good. The people were friendly but the food wasn't anything. I got a country ham sandwich cheese fries and a chocolate shake. If I didn't ask for cheese on it I would have gotten an overcooked dried out piece of ham on two pieces of toast and the shake was more like chocolate milk. Then when running my card there was someone on the phone, so it didn't go thru and they had to do it again. Of course, as I knew was gonna happen, it double hit my account. Instantly we felt so welcome, the staff was sweet, kind and attentive and though we were out of towners it was if we were part of the community as well. Our waitress was so warm and sweet, she felt like an old family friend! The food was fabulous, classic comfort food that tasted as if it was homemade with love.
