2024: The restaurant and owners are still nice. It is popular and usually pretty busy these days, service is hit or miss. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gone down. You still get large protions but the ingredients are not as fresh and the flavors are not as good.

2023: The spinach & chicken quesadilla is enormous and delicious. I can usually put some food away but I ended up taking half of it home. So good.

2019: This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The owners and workers here are amazing all the way around. They also probably have the best salsa within a 30-mile radius. The food is good. Service wasn't bad. The wait for drinks got a little long when they were not even busy so it could have been better. One thing to note, I tend to like spicy food, but my wife does not. Their salsa that they serve IS spicy. So just be careful if you're not down with a dash of heat. We have been here a few times. Sat in the booths, at tables and at the "outside" area where there is like plexiglass and this last time realized there are bullet holes out there. It could be kept up more. Almost every table wobbles to the point if you're not careful or if you have a child that bumps the table it will knock the table off balance to where your drinks spills. My first impression of this restaurant was that it was a very welcoming, friendly atmosphere...and clean (even the bathroom!). The chips and salsa were amazing, and I was so excited to try the food. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked so good, I was pretty sure we had found our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately we were disappointed in the flavor of the ground beef (as it really had no flavor and was the consistency of mush) and the refried beans, which also had no flavor. My husband said that the chicken was pretty decent though, as was the shrimp. We will definitely try this place again, in hopes of finding dishes that are more flavorful to our palates, but would recommend if only...
