El Fogon Hackleburg — Restaurant in Hackleburg

If I didn't take my time to drive through downtown hackleburg, I would not have even seen this place. After driving past it I turned around and parked.

Wonderful little place great atmosphere and great people working there. I always like to try something before I invest a lot of time and energy taking my spouse to a place to eat so I ordered three El Paso street tacos with the works. I paid a little extra just a few dollars over $10 and waited for my order..... and voila....

What you see before your eyes is an image of what I took home 3 fully loaded El pastor tacos, with cilantro and grilled onions, a side of chips salsa red and green sauces.

I want to tell you this: they are delicious- I had two of them, they were big, and I saved a third for my wife as she came home from her appointment. They were scrumptious and done nicely not chewy and skimpy like some places but they were delicious, done nicely, juicy and deliciously tasty.

One thing I do appreciate is decent ethnic foods. People that try extremely hard to make a very quality product.

I have not been to this establishment and been underwhelmed with what I have received ever. I do appreciate the quality of what they do and how they do it.

I do not end up on that side of hackleburg that often but when I do and I need a quick bite to eat that is my focal point that's where I go they are reliable and consistent. Their service is attentive and they listen and they care about what they prepare.

They're atmosphere is very entertaining and fun they have videos playing in a way that just takes you to another part of the world and experience the time that you're waiting in a way that just draws you in. I appreciate the miss as an...

What a surprising find in a tiny town. We were in Hackleburg for the weekend with our RV getting our windshield replaced. We ventured out on Saturday evening and walked to El Fogon.
