First & Last. I had the Philly cheese steak sub due to someone else's review that it is the best they ever had. Not sure if this person knows what a good sub is. Ugh.
It was the worst I have ever had and coming from living in PA I know a good Philly steak. There was literally almost to no cheese (which is the best part of the sandwich) , onions and peppers where minimal and burnt, no flavor ....then the meat. At first I thought they used soy sauce on it but after the husband tasting it it's more like a steak sauce....which was the most saltines thing i have ever eaten in my life. Either way this was very hard to eat because it was beyond salty. Fries where just as salty. Stay away from the sub. Husband got a meat plate but found it sub-par.
Total bill was $30 buy definitely NOT $30 worth of food. Nothing great about this little place and it seems all bbq places around here are the same. We won't return here. Waitress was nice and friendly but...
Read moreWe went here for dinner on a Saturday afternoon after visiting Dismals Canyon since it was pretty close and we were going back for the night tour. I got the philly cheese steak sandwich. It was phenomenal, one of the best I've had in a while. I also got a baked potato with cheese and bacon. The cheese was like nacho cheese and that potatoe was awesome, too. My son got a BBQ sandwich which was loaded with meat. The special for the night was a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. The cheeseburger was huge. The guy cooking the food asked us how our food was as we were paying to leave. He was super nice and we chatted a bit about the Dismals. Great...

Beans were from a can, Mac was dry, could be a few days old because in other reviews it’s runny, and both were definitely microwaved in their little paper bowls. Bbq had some age to it too and if I didn’t know any better I’d say my sandwich was pre made. No drink refill. No smiles to be seen. Sauce was good? I tipped good cause it’s Christmas, but I’ll just grab a crispito at the...
