Hartle's Subs — Restaurant in Hagerstown

Firstly, I walked in and Terry, the cashier was speaking on the phone with a woman who was obviously very upset with her order and how many errors there were. He performed extremely terrible customer service skills by telling the woman “too bad” in so many words. She then proceeded to ask for his name and he spoke to her in a condescending tone and hung up the phone. We decided that maybe it was a fluke, everyone has bad days. I’ve worked in the industry, it’s stressful and we ordered anyway. The subs we received were horrid. Neither of them were what we ordered, they were extremely sloppily made. Ordered several times from Marshall Street store in the last year or two. Have been a customer of Hartles since I was a teenager. I am now 68. They never seem to be able to get the order right. Today ordered a turkey sub and a cold cut. Both sub rolls were soggy. This has to be because the subs were not freshly made. We ordered hot on the side for one. Not in the bag. Hartle's sub shop one of the last original shops in Hagerstown recently they have increased their prices which I feel is a little high for what you're getting, my last visit I had a sub made with frozen Tomatoes they had to pull them apart to put them on the sandwich.
