JJ's Italian Kitchen-(Pizza, Sandwich, Catering, Dinner) — Restaurant in Hamden

One of the worst customer services ever . Ordered through grub hub bc it was free delivery estimated time on grub hub was 25-30 mins . Took hour and half to arrive . I called to ask where it was at the hour mark said it was coming . Once it arrived, i was missing fries and sandwich wasn’t that good. Salad was ok. Called grub hub to complain about wait time and missing items . They called jjs to talk to manager who then called me. I didn’t want the fries at that point just a refund and manager said he wasn’t going to charge me for any of the Order and wanted me to give him a second try and would give me 20$ credit on next order . I asked how would i get that he said just write It in comments on grub hub . I said ok . And days go by and i never got a refund . Called grub hub again who called them and the manager denied the refund ..????. Redic and i reaches out on fb messenger and only response i got was go through grub hub . So that was all a lie never got refunded read several other reviews online and seems like the norm at this place . Horrible . Never going back Don’t...

First time I got food there it was excellent, then ordered a few times after it was ok, then ordered pizza, it was soggy, not fully cooked and not what I ordered. Totally disappointed and disgusted. This place is extremely expensive and all you get in return is mistakes and raw sub par pizza. The girl who answers the phones is nice and tried to be as accommodating as possible but ultimately didn't do what I wanted as a paying returning customer which is either get a refund or a free pizza for next time what she did instead of giving me a refund is she sent a new pizza which was the same nasty pizza that got sent the first time. The excuse she gave me was I took too long too make up my mind that I wanted a refund. It took me only about 10 minutes. ( if it takes only 10 minutes to take an order for a large pizza prepare and cook it properly and have it out for delivery you're doing something wrong) all in all I will never be going back to this place again I would...

We ordered the boneless buffalo wings and received chicken strips cut in half with no buffalo sauce. Just plan chicken strips/cutlets which looked and tasted like they were store bought frozen and heated up. We ordered extra blue cheese, and didn’t get any which we were charged for. The garlic knots taste disgusting and soggy. According to my girlfriend, The meatballs were alright, but they also cut them in half’s probably to warm them up faster. I order to pick up and was told it would first be ready at 8:45. Then I received a message saying it will be 8:55 due to being busy. When we got there we waited till 9:10 till we got our order (we got there at 8:50). I don’t understand why it took so long, since not one other order was picked up or went out for delivery while we waited. Definitely not authentic Italian food.
