(Original review 06-08-2023) We come here A lot & spend a lot of money here! Lately, especially on the weekends, our sandwiches are consistently wrong! Order DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER combo off the menu! The picture clearly shows 2 pieces of cheese, one on the top bun next to the condiments & the other between the meat & obviously since it’s supposed to be a double cheeseburger you expect to get 2 pieces of cheese! The last 3 orders (probably more) that we order it we get 1 piece of cheese in between the burgers & it’s obvious its only one since the burger is lukewarm! Today is the last day we will visit this location for awhile because our food is always made incorrectly & we pay for it! Not a big deal since its one piece of cheese but its not correct and not what we order or pay for! We can go elsewhere to get the correct order! After reading others reviews this seems to be an ongoing problem! I will not be coming back or giving you anymore chances! If I had to rate some of the workers at the window they would get a 5 star! Always very kind & we appreciate that part!
Visited this location again after a year to see if anything improved. Ordered a SHREDDED chicken sandwich. It’s on your local favorite menu! Drive down the road and it’s 2 Chicken STRIPS on a bun with mayo, tomato, and lettuce! I ordered a SHREDDED chicken sandwich! How this drive thru can screw up every order is amazing & upsetting. I will definitely not be giving anymore chances. Do you train your employees on how to make the correct food people order? You give people whatever your employees decide to make! NOT what they order! I would love to get all my money back on the wrong food I get every time! The only comparison to what I ordered & what I got was they was both...
Read moreHad a situation where my bill was $21 and some change. I gave a $15 gift card and a $20. Instead of using all of the money on the gift card and the remainder from the cash, they did the opposite. I pulled off in a hurry and, thinking I forgot my change, called up to the store to inform them. The first phone call I spoke to a young man who was very nice, and he told me I could come back up to the store and they would fix it. Well, at first I thought I had disposed of my gift card. So I called back and spoke to Lydia. She couldn't have been more rude and uncaring. I was sooooo pissed. Her words to me were, "Oh, well, there's nothing we can do have a nice day." And she hung up. Now...... I work in customer service and that is NOT how you handle a customer with a problem, whether there was anything that could be done or not. Then, I found the gift card and went up there to get my transaction fixed. When I asked for the district manager's phone number, of course they didn't know it, didn't know his name, even though that store was his home store, and all kinds of bull. Then, while at the store, I was explaining to her how she made me feel on the phone, she didn't apologize, she said, "well, there's nothing else that can be done " and shut the window. I will never go to Dairy...
Read moreI think Dairy Queen is honestly a pretty under rated place to eat for the class of food it is.
I compare Dairy Queen to in a range where White Castle is the worst in class and Culver's is the best in class. Arby's is in this group, McDonald's, Steak'n'Shake, mainstream fast food etc.
The key is to not get distracted with ice cream. Dairy Queen's ice cream is nothing special, it's soft serve vanilla and chocolate ice cream with toppings, yippee... Although the ice cream cake is particularly delicious in niche demands, like when you want an ice cream cake! The crunchy cookie/fudge streak component elevates Dairy Queen's ice cream cake for me.
Dairy Queen actually has great burgers, fries, chicken strips, and fish sandwiches. The burgers are completely superior to McDonalds/Burgerking/Hardees that are their competitors in my area, rivaling Wendy's but more unctuous. Forget about ice cream, Dairy Queen is actually a pretty great fast food joint when there's not a Culver's or...
