Not sure where the good reviews come from, and I'm sorry to report my experience was NOT anywhere near those of others. I guess many good reviews may come from breakfast meals, where, let's face it, it's hard to ruin an egg or slice of toast. We were there for dinner. My wife ordered a London Broil salad, and I had the Gyro "platter". After an exceedingly long wait, the food arrived. The London Broil tasted "ok" but overdone. The salad it rested on was fine. My meal was far from "ok". In fact, it was downright disappointing. I expected a greek diner to serve actual gyro meat, not the 4 small slices of the pre-sliced, pre-cooked stuff they call gyro meat that I have purchased myself at Sam's Club. The "greek salad" it rested on was not an authentic greek salad, and was far too finely chopped, and covered in a non-greek salad dressing, with downright terrible hummus on the side. But the worst part was the 4 very tiny triangles of cut pita bread served with it, a very, very small amount for a platter. I immediately requested more, because I knew it wouldn't be enough, and the waitress obliged by bringing an additional 4 tiny triangles. I was disappointed, shocked really, to discover that request added another $1.50 to the almost $15.00 cost of my platter. Sad that a diner feels they need to charge another $1.50 on top of an already overpriced platter for a tiny additional portion of bread. My meal was supposed to come with baklava for dessert, and since, again, I expected it to be homemade, I was more than a little disappointed when the waitress informed me, AFTER we had our meals, that there was no baklava to be had. Had I know that before I ordered, who knows? Maybe I would have had a burger, or some other choice, and this review would have more stars. I was offered other choices, and selected the carrot cake, and asked it to be packaged to go. I took a picture of what I discovered when we got home. That pic is worth a thousand words, I think. Need I say more? I would consider going back if it were breakfast, AND no other place was convenient, but a dinner there?...
Read moreExtremely disappointed in the service we received tonight! If I could put 0 stars I would! We placed an online order for pick up for dinner. When placing our order the "order form" online was very vague, but had a section for notes for ADD ONS. We put in the notes our add on items to our meals, right under the notes section they state "Additional charges may apply", perfectly fine we expect that. We get home from picking up our food and notice not only were the add on items not in our meals, but the kids meal we ordered for our daughter did not come with ANY of the other things it states (French fries, soup, and dessert) so we basically paid $9.45 for 4 raviolis. We called the diner, very calmly of course just thinking it was an honest mistake. The woman my husband spoke with claimed to be the "manager" was extremely rude to him, and speaking over him the entire phone call. When she told us there were add on buttons we had to click, we politely told her I'm sorry but they aren't on the order form, her response was "I doubt it" who as a manager speaks to a customer in this manner? Why do you have a notes section (that states additional charges may apply) if your not going to read it to confirm an order or any changes made to that order? On top of this we tipped $9.50 for a PICK UP ORDER and we were missing almost an entire kids meal, and items from our meals. Note to the "Manager" be more polite to your customers, if they state your website is not how you are explaining it, don't call them a liar, which is what she basically did! We are VERY turned off by this experience and will NEVER order or eat there again. We had multiple issues with previous management, rude employees, incorrect orders etc. We thought it would have been better this time but I guess we were wrong! Save your time and money and eat somewhere else, we do not recommend this...
Read moreI’ve never had such poor customer service and unacceptable food that prompted me to write a review. We ordered cheesesteaks. My experience: First, when the cheesesteaks come out, they have yellow cheese. I mention to the waitress that it’s yellow cheese and she says “yeah, that’s all we have so that’s what is put in the cheesesteaks” and she walked away. She didn’t give me the option to ask for something else on the menu. In other words, it is what it is so just eat it! Second, I look at my son’s cheesesteak and it barely had any meat. I call the waitress and tell her, he’s missing meat on his cheesesteak (where’s the beef?!?!?! Lol) she takes it and brings it back with meat on it. Third, I’m about to pick up 1/2 of my cheesesteak and the back part of the bread is opened up (didn’t have a lot of meat…it was soggy) as if I was eating a cheesesteak on 2 slices of bread. I look at my boyfriend and he shows me his bread and it’s soggy about to break as well. I ask for a manager and she comes to our table and I show her the bread. She says it’s because of the steam of the meat! (I’ve had many, many, many cheesesteaks in my life and I’ve never had a soggy, broken up cheesesteak.) She asked if we wanted her to put it on another bread. I said yes, please. She takes our cheesesteaks and brings it back on another bread roll. By this time, the meat is cold and when I start cutting my cheesesteak, the bread starts breaking apart…THE BREAD IS STALE!!! The manager passes by our table and asks if everything is ok. I mention “no the bread is stale”. She says it’s because they placed the bread in the toaster!! I’m not stupid and at this point, I’m so over it! The bread wasn’t toasted, it was STALE, but I’m NOT going to argue and have them take my cheesesteak back AGAIN!!! I told her, it’s okay and she...
