I was part of a large party, so this was not a normal dining situation. However, they had apparently only assigned one waitresses to our party, they took a very long time to take a drink order, and they took a very long time to come with the drinks. My wife asked for water with lemon, but never got a lemon until the food arrived, and the water was not good. Tasted unfiltered and off. They rarely came to check and refill drinks during our visit. Waited a long time for the food order to be taken, and even longer for the food. I can understand that it was a large party and that can be difficult for a kitchen, but I suspect they were short on staff. The burgers others ordered looked good. Unfortunately I had ordered seafood which was overcooked and bland. I had to ask for tartar and cocktail sauce, as it initially came out with nothing for fried seafood. They also just gave us large bowls of steamed vegetables to share, rather than individual platings. That could be normal here, but I'd never seen that before at a restaurant. My experience with the service did not match the prices they were charging for food, and the seafood flavor also was not what you would expect from this area for that price. Unlikely I'd ever go back here unless invited by friends or family, and if I do, I'll just...

So this place really went the extra mile tonight. It's Father's Day, I had called a couple days ago to make sure they were still doing their prime rib specials on Saturday Sunday and Monday which they are, and we intended on going to dinner Sunday night to celebrate Father's Day. We got there at about 6:50 p.m. were seated promptly. Waitress came over and said I'm sorry we're closed they shouldn't have seated you the last seatings we were taking we're at 5:30. At first I thought she was joking but clearly she was being honest. She went into the kitchen and came back a few minutes later and said absolutely no problem we still have plenty of everything and there's no problem serving you. First this is exceptional, It wasn't their fault because they only decided the day before that they would close at 5:30 because that was their last reservation time that they had accepted. Thus this was not conveyed to me when I called a couple of days before. But they were going to accommodate us and they still had prime rib, rare the way I like it. My wife had the veal parmesan I have course had the prime rib and everything was exceptional. This place out did themselves. Thanks to all at the restaurant for being just the way we've always seen you be in the past. Keep up the good work...

It's our annual Halloween tradition to eat at the pub. Years ago, we would go for the Prime Rib special and the flounder kids' meal. Neither of those were available today. Out of 5 of us, everyone got something different from the menu. None of the food was great, but it wasn't bad either. If you have food restrictions, this is probably not going to be a place to eat unless you order a salad and deconstruct it a bit. There isn't a simplistic a la cart menu to piece together food items. The prices for the quality and quantity of the food are unbalanced if you compare the Pub to a Diner. If you want nostalgia, you will definitely get it here since nothing has been updated in years, which is fine. It's hard to rate the wait staff since there were so many people, and it was super busy. The wait on the food was not long considering, and everything came out hot. The patrons were all huddled at their tables, chatting pleasantly with one another, and the atmosphere was relatively calm. The bathroom was clean but run down aesthetically compared to prior visits. It wasn't a bad time, and we will be eating there more than likely...

What an amazing, rustic, delightful place! I'm in love. From the moment you walk in you can feel the warmth of the "old fashioned" family restaurant that you used to go to as a kid. Big padded booths, wooden tables, a beautiful bar, and the most amazing marbled carpet that made me feel like it was 1975. Then onto the menu. Delicious cocktails and beverages and the food! From light fare, savory Appetizers, and Entrees to bust your belly. The portions are huge yet the cost is more than reasonable. Everything was delicious, including the service. The restaurant is ground level, there is room for wheelchair accommodations, and plenty of free on site parking. I can't wait til my next visit! If you are looking for a fun, family friendly place to enjoy good food and good times look no further. Enjoy!
