We went to try the Sunday buffet and I was not impressed. First of all, we walk in and it did not seem like the air conditioning was working properly as it was kind of warm. And it was a very hot day. An employee brought us some salsa but could not speak English and was trying to point to the buffet if we wanted some chips. We could not understand what she was trying to communicate and finally our waiter came and explained it. It would be better if the restaurant kept the chips in the back and brought them to the table with the salsa because at least they would be hot and fresh. The chips on the buffet were cold and tasted stale. We tried both of the fruity drinks on the buffet and both had way too much ice in them and we're very watered down. The rice and beans were hot and the rice had a good flavor and besides the shrimp fajitas, it was about the only thing decent on the entire buffet. I think they make up too much food and it sits there and just does not look good because it doesn't look fresh. The biscuits and gravy were not hot at all and the tater tots were actually cold. I tried to dig down to the bottom of the tater tots and most of them were sticking to the pan. The bacon did not seem like bacon. It was extremely thin and not cooked crispy. I thought getting an omelet would at least be hot and fresh but no one was around to make me one. I stood there long enough and finally an employee came and made me one but again she knew no English. We kind of muddled through it by pointing to things. She pointed to my booth and tried to communicate that she would bring it to me when it was done so I went back to my seat. I was disappointed with it. I really like an omelette when they stir fry the vegetables separate from the egg. Here they just mix everything together and it was overcooked. I only ate about half of it. Just disappointed that we drove 35 minutes to get there and I did not feel $18 was worth the price. We won't...
Read moreElisabeth, the waitress was very accommodating and friendly. All the staff help each other to make sure that the customers are satisfied. They served us with chips and two kind of salsa, one is regular spice and the other is no spice.
Their mango margarita is awesome, small glass was enough for me, Eli suggested me to put the sugar rim, and Im glad i did.
