They need to have special parking for those with Handicapped placards plus the kitchen needs to work on time management when it comes to orders. We saw one price on the website for foods we wanted to try so we made sure to hold back enough money for food and the entry fee to see The Hubie Ashcraft Band. We get there and I had to wait on my husband while he was parking the car. I have arthritis in both hips and lower back as well as a slipped disk in my spine pinching on a nerve to where I can't walk far or climb up and down stairs. My husband helped me down the steps to the bar to find out after the entry fee we didn't have enough money to get what we originally wanted. So we ended up ordering egg rolls, broccoli cheese bites, frozen Margarita, and water. We got our drinks right away but we waited 25-30 minutes just for 2 egg rolls and 5 broccoli cheese bites while others that came in after us got there food before us. Then when it came to the dance hall and watching Hubie people were very rude and standing in front of others that were trying to enjoy the show. I was there to celebrate my Birthday with Hubie who is a friend that was also celebrating his birthday. Alot of college aged drunks were coming in showing off, and blocking the view from alot of older people that were trying to have a good time. After an hour of dealing with this, and getting hit in the leg with a chair by a drunk couple showing off. It wasn't no just a chair hitting my leg the guy shoved his female partner into the chair and literally caused the chair to ram into my leg. I got up and left before I got further upset. As we were leaving there were still drunk college kids pouring in and the dance hall was already packed full. I won't return to Cold Springs Resort I will gladly go see Hubie elsewhere that he...
Read moreWe had a wedding here on July 31,2021. We had reservations since we live an hour and a half away. So we arrived early to check in. First off there is no place to check in. We went down to the bar that was closed to ask where do we check in. He gave us keys. I don't know how this place is open legally? It is not handy cap accessible you get to the hotel it has two set of steps. I had to carry my husband's walker up the stairs. Luckily he was able to climb up the stairs. The strong musty smell of the place is awful. We got to our room and there is no lock on the inside door. There is no air conditioning only what comes up one register. I was able to open all the windows to air it out. My sister was not that lucky only one window in their room opened. The room was not clean you could see the dust on the table. The TV was very old and small. You had to turn on the TV and the remote changed it, you had three chanels. The bathroom was pink must be original. The toilet had years of rust in it. I would not recommend this place. I think the health dept ect should...
