I have been to Eggo’s Cafe multiple times now, and I find it unreasonable to give this restaurant anything less than five stars!
Here is a list of the things I have enjoyed about my experiences eating at Eggo’s cafe:
The service is outstanding! The food exceeds expectations by an exponential amount. The pricing of the food is extremely fair to both the customer, as well as the business. Visualize Subway prices, but multiply the quality of food and service by a whopping 10. The business as a whole is extremely inviting. You will always feel welcome and accepted here. The employees are great conversationalists, and they radiate genuine kindness. The menu is extensive in the best way possible; even picky eaters will find food here to satisfy their harsh eating preferences. I have yet to see a single napkin or piece of trash on the ground. The cleanliness is a 10/10. There is a tip jar, and a line on the receipt to add tips on card transactions. I have yet to feel pressured to tip, which results in me leaving greater tips. (The business earns and deserves them.) Everything is make-to-order. When you receive your food, it will be fresh and hot! (if you order a wrap, or any other cold item, the “hot” part is obviously not applicable.) The family of which owns and runs this restaurant has clearly embedded mass amounts of passion and love into what they do.
I do have one single complaint about Eggo's, but it is so minor that it truly doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. The hand sanitizer is the slimy/sticky kind. If you plan on eating here, I recommend using your own Germ-X, or washing your hands in their bathroom to potentially avoid having uncomfortable hands. I hope the hand sanitizer gets a replacement or upgrade in the near future.
Overall, I think everyone should give Eggo’s a shot. Even if you don’t enjoy your food on the first visit, I’d recommend giving them a second chance. They have a large menu, and it would be shocking if you were in love with every dish. Statistically speaking, there will probably be a thing or two you simply don’t enjoy there, and that’s okay!
Remember to eat locally and support small businesses like Eggo’s Cafe! Your money will be well spent, and the time you spend there will be grand!
EDIT: The hand sanitizer received a significant upgrade, and I...
Read moreEggo's Cafe was recommended to me by Keith from Inn Transit. So grateful for the recommendation. I was staying at the Little house of Hamilton. So I went for breakfast. Everyone was super friendly and everything was clean. I had biscuits and gravy day 1 of my stay and biscuits and gravy and hashbrowns day 2 of my stay. Also orange juice. The food was delicious and prepared as I like soft biscuits, plenty of gravy, and the hashbrowns had just the right amount of crispness. The price was nice and reasonable. I will eat here again when I visit...
Read moreBest restaurant by far in a 50 mile radius! The service was great, wonderful people. The food looked like something out of an art gallery. I went with my girlfriends father and we were both blown away by the taste. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. They made everything fresh. The veggies were so colorful and the food tray was put together so nicely. Better than any chain restaurant in my opinion. If you’re ever in Hamilton please do yourself a favor and go to this place. They DO NOT disappoint!!! Thank you guys!! Will be...
