Horrible customer service. I ordered meals to be delivered to my parents for a nice mother's day supper and Anna's sent the wrong food. I called them politely to inform them of the mistake and was adamantly told that they didn't make a mistake. I told them what I had ordered and what my receipt stated and the employee, who was not a manager, kept telling me that they didn't make a mistake and that the food they delivered is what I ordered. Because I live several hours away, I asked if I could email or text them a copy of my receipt, and they employee became more aggressive and adamant that it wasn't their fault. I asked to speak to a manager, and I could hear a gentleman yelling in the background that it wasn't their fault and that I didn't order the correct food. After asking for the manager multiple times, I finally was allowed to speak to the manager. I calmly explained the issue. She then checked the iPad/tablet that they receive online orders on and saw that what I was saying was true and that the employee had simply written down the wrong order on a handwritten receipt from the kitchen. All of the stress and 40 minute long conversation could have been avoided if they had simply checked the online receipt from the beginning. I will not...
Read moreI stopped by Anna's the other night, tucked into a nondescript strip mall in Hampton. If you didn’t know it was there, you might drive right past it—but I’m glad I didn’t.
The pizza was fairly solid. It brought back memories of those no-frills New York slices you can grab on any corner—thin crust, slightly greasy (in a good way), with just enough chew to the dough and a classic tomato sauce that doesn’t try too hard. It’s the kind of pizza that doesn’t need artisanal toppings or wood-fired gimmicks—it just is. That said, it didn’t knock my socks off. It’s not destination pizza, but definitely dependable.
The environment is... fine. It’s your standard strip mall setup: a few tables, minimal decor, and the usual hum of the soda machine in the background. Not a spot for date night, but totally serviceable for a quick bite or takeout.
Overall, if you’re in Hampton and craving a slice that channels NYC corner-shop energy, this place will scratch the itch. Just don’t expect fireworks—this is comfort pizza, not...
Read moreMy husband has loved this place for many years! When our entire family came for lunch a few years ago we all agreed....Anna's Pizza is AMAZING! They actually have a lot of good food on the menu but our favorite go - to is their cheese pizza!! The pizza is amazing. Their crust is delicious... not too thick, not too salty or greasy. A perfect thin crust.
We like the casual, clean atmosphere with plenty of space to eat. They have also expanded to add a Kid's Fun Room with games that my kids will love to come hang out in while we chat at the table after dinner... Ahhhhh. I like imagining that. ;) Actually, my husband and I snuck here on a date night alone and WE are about to go play a quick game of air hockey or skeet ball. ;) (They advertise they do birthday parties in their game room but I have not invited about that. )
I had the tirramasi tonight and it was moist and delicious.
I would highly recommend this family owned and operated...
