AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs! They cannot make proper Thai food! There are NO zero stars so I could not choose it. I ordered drunken noodles and if I had to rate it it would be 4/10. I ate half of it and I didn't even want to box the other half! Then I decided to try a salad so I ordered a papaya salad to take out and the papaya was wilted and the fish sauce was not even prepared properly -very salty and stinky! I called immediately after I tasted it at the hotel about 8 minutes a way. They said they were closed. They said they will not take it back because I was required to open the dish and taste it at the restaurant before I leave the restaurant! In all of my take out orders I was never required to do that and none of my friends /colleagues have ever heard of such a ridiculous policy. Then I told them I will bring it back not the next day but the day after and the server said Okay . ( I had to work 9-9 next day and they would be closed) . When I brought it back the manager claimed she served me! She did not! It was the first time I saw her face. Plus she is short , heavily made up and on the chubby side. My server was tall and skinny with no make up. Then she asked the owner -the elderly lady- and the owner said I have had it for 2 days BUT they KNOW I COULD NOT COME BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSED WHEN I CALLED AND I LET THEM KNOW I WAS WORKING SO I COULD NOT COME THE NEXT DAY ! It came with rice and I did not even touch the rice. I told them that I could not eat it ...it was too salty. It was like they just pour neat fish sauce on it. They told me this is their recipe. I have Thai friends . I have eaten at many Thai restaurants in different states and different countries so I know what is a good and authentic papaya salad/recipe should taste like. A good chef should know how to prepare it properly. This IS THEIR recipe they said and if I did not like it ..it is too bad...well it is an awful one and good chefs have good recipes. Where is their customer service? Do they even understand what that is? As you can see they found all ridiculous and unreasonable excuses to not make it right! I have eaten at many restaurants all over the world due to my travels and in America and this is the worst papaya salad and they have the worst customer service. Not only that their restaurant is in a sketchy area and furnished cheaply, but they have the customer service to match it.

If you want good Thai food ...DO NOT come here. I will not return. It was my first time...

Nov 9th, I placed my order to go, due to me having to go back to work. This is my first time trying this restaurant due to a coworker telling me about it. I always go to Langley Thai, and I should've just gone there instead of trying Thai Papaya. I ordered the shrimp padthai.. and it had no flavor... it wasn't sweet and or savory. Just BLAND overall. Seemed like they cooked everything in one pan. I even ordered the chicken spring rolls and that was also not good. I honestly will not recommend anybody to eat here. Maybe it was a bad night, but I will continue to go to Langley Thai. My food looked like SLOP, no color just everything was brown. If I could add a picture to this review I would have. PLEASE IF YOU READ THIS, IF YOU WANT AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD GO TO LANGLEY THAI. Also I called back and they said they do not do refunds because I already left out with the food...which makes since but I placed the order to go because I had to go right back to work. I only ate two bites of the padthai, i could not finish it; so I immediately called the establishment, not even 20 mins later from when I picked it up. I am not mad about the food just more disappointed because of how disgusting it was. If you do eat here, refrain from eating the padthai and or the...

I order through Grubhub and they sent me a chicken dish when I ordered shrimp. I am pescatarian. When I called and I was treated as if I was lying. Finally spoke to a man who said I would have to go pick the food up and I would get a dessert. One I get there they make me wait even though I found out the food was sitting on the counter the whole time. So after 10 minutes I go to the counter to ask what’s going on. An older woman starts talking to the lady at the counter and then she tells me to show her my order and I do. Then they tell me to go back home and get the chicken dish and bring it back before they will give me my correct order. After arguing and complaining and getting loud. Which I hate to have to do. They finally handed me the food with no apology or anything. And as I was leaving I saw workers in the back talking and laughing cooking food with no masks on. I threw the food away and ordered pizza. Ya’s Kitchen food is so much better and they have awesome customer service!!! It’s not worth it to eat at this place. There food is trash and the treat you horribly!!! Would give zero starts if it was an optIon. And their are guys loitering all over the strip mall. Not a nice location or...

My mother and I enjoyed a delicious lunch today. This place is a delicious hidden locals gem; family owned and operated for years! The service was wonderful. Our server was pleasant and efficient, not to mention very kind. We ordered a Beef salad as an appetizer for mom and I to enjoy. Unfortunately, we didn't specify that we wanted it served as an appetizer, and our meals and salad arrived at the same time. Our meals were prepared quickly and served hot. I didn't get any pictures of the food today because mom and I were enjoying one another's company so much. The pictures posted are after our meal while enjoying hot tea. Mom ordered chicken red Curry and enjoyed it served with rice 🍚. I had a delicious version of Drunken Noodles chicken ordered mild. I could have definitely turned up the heat, but that's just me. We brought hoke chicken pad thai and chicken fried rice for hubby. I would have liked lime with the pad thai. It was good but the lime or fresh cucumber would have made the dish more flavorful. I'm having the fried rice later and will update the review next go around with food pics.

Nice beautiful inside decor. Pleasant waitress. Not a long wait. Our first time eating Thai food. I ordered 8 food items: -Tom ka -Pad see eaw 👍 -Pad thai -Massaman curry 👍 -Chicken egg roll 👍 -Steam dumplings kaboom jeep👍 -Larb -Fried rice (everything)👍 Our favorites have thumbs up. Tom Ka, Larb, and Pad Thai has an acquired taste. Massaman curry was mild and delicious. The rest of the food had no hot chilli pepper per request. We will order again from here. I had chicken pineapple curry. It had a touch of hot spice but not alarming. I really enjoyed my lunch. Fresh veggies, chunks of chicken and a curry sauce that I'd like to buy by the quart. Dessert was sticky rice with mango fruit. One order was plenty for 2 people. I LOVED it. The restaurant was clean and sraff pleasant. Definitely going back!
