UPDATE: Instead of apologizing for issues with this order, the restaurant staff ranted, made excuses, blamed DoorDash and accused its driver of eating the food or leaving it sitting in their car (with no proof). Its staff also decided we were 'uneducated,' couldn't possibly know 'good' Thai food. The rude staff also decided to call us names, as well as provide exceptionally bad customer service. Maybe they were having an off day, but the meal we ordered from Little Thai Kitchen was awful. We did, unfortunately, talk to the staff about a refund on the drinks, but they were rude and didn't seem to care the food they sent was inedible. They claim to have footage of our meal being prepared. They should probably study it and learn what not to do on future orders. Other reviews reported similar issues, but still gave them three stars. We gave the meal the rating it earned.Yes, there are other Thai restaurants in Hampton who don't have soggy, tasteless egg rolls, fried rice that tastes like dirty pan, disgusting crab rangoons without crab and chicken wings with actual seasoning (that don't need sauce to be delicious). I'd suggest people try them and avoid this horrible place. We're more than happy to take our business to restaurants with tasty food and better customer service.
REVIEW: We were looking forward to trying this Thai place and small business, but the meal was very disappointing. We ordered lunch and had an issue with every item. The order was missing items, specifically the Thai tea and soda we ordered. The Crab rangoons were greasy-coated balls of old cream cheese with no crab meat - at all. We expected Thai egg rolls to be smaller, but not miniature, watery and bland. The fried chicken wings were some of the WORST we've ever ordered. The wings were overcooked, and lacked even basic seasonings. The portion for the Thai Orange Chicken was very small and it barely had any sauce. The sauce wasn't there - it wasn't hiding out behind the broccoli. The mango with the sticky rice wasn't ripe and the dish wasn't prepared traditionally. It was nasty. The lunch fried rice was also dry, fried poorly, had very little chicken. It had no flavor (mild should not mean not seasoned). With fees, this terrible meal was more than $81. It was expensive, unappetizing and just bad. The customer service also left a lot to be desired. We didn't respond when the restaurant called us because no one wanted to deal with the rude staff twice. We're never ordering from this small business again and would definitely NOT...
Read moreThis restaurant was, without question, one of my all-time favorite Thai dining establishments, and it remains a standout in terms of both food quality and customer service. Although I no longer live within easy distance, I still fondly remember the exceptional dishes and the unique flavors that made every visit a memorable experience.
One of the dishes that stands out is their Spicy Thai Fried Rice, which was always a perfect balance of heat and flavor. It had just the right amount of spice, combined with the savory depth of seasoned rice, vegetables, and tender proteins, creating a rich and satisfying meal. On chilly days, nothing quite compared to the warmth and comfort of that dish. The freshness of the ingredients, along with the bold yet balanced flavors, made every bite a delight. The attention to detail in each dish demonstrated the restaurant’s commitment to quality, as well as their expertise in creating authentic Thai cuisine.
In addition to the food, the customer service was consistently exceptional. The staff was always welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure that every guest had a pleasant dining experience. They truly went above and beyond to create a friendly, professional atmosphere that complemented the quality of the food.
Though I miss this restaurant greatly, particularly on days when I crave their flavorful dishes, I continue to recommend it to anyone in the area seeking an authentic and delicious Thai dining experience. The combination of expertly prepared food and top-tier customer service is a rare find, making this restaurant truly stand out...
Read moreWe frequently find ourselves in this establishment when we are looking for good portion to price ratio; always leaving satisfied! This was also the first Thai place within the 757 that has provided a substantial spice level when we request.
I always order the crab rangoon, deliciously creamy and the sauce with it is a good addition. The curry empanadas were perfectly flaky. For soup I had pork wonton with broth so amazingly spicy and silky wonton!
Our main dishes were Thai orange chicken and chicken fried rice. The orange chicken comes with rice and a delicious sauce tuned to my spice level and perfectly breaded chicken pieces. The fried rice has enough for two servings to save for later!
For valentines we purchased dessert for the first time which was the sticky rice with mango. The mango was fresh and the rice was sweet but not too sweet.
The owner is very appreciative of their patrons and service is always on top of their game. The establishment has four tables but typically people order out so most times you can find a place to sit in. Dining area is always clean and they play a combination of Thai music and 80s music. Atmosphere is superb for this hidden gem.
The Thai tea is amazing, I get it every time. Each entree you order earns you a stamp on a punch card towards...
