The bad reviews are true. There was only one guy working there. He was friendly but when he packed our food, his gloves were wet. Not sure from where? We ordered the Power Lunch. Portion size was smaller than everywhere else, but I guess thatās the only good thing because the food was really bad.
Rice was undercooked. Chicken Tender was overly grilled, ending in a very bitter taste that overpowered the flavoring. Beef & Chicken Sheekh Kabab were pretty bland, I donāt like wasting food but I canāt even finish them. Beef Tikka Kabab looked promising but I swear, the texture was like MASHED POTATOES. I was very disgusted by it. How did they even cooked it till it disintegrated like that in the mouth?? No chewing was needed because there wasnt anything to chew. Salad was edible but not made equally. One box had almost entirely purple cabbages only. Food did take a little longer than estimated online.
I was so looking forward to trying this place out for weeks and this place really bummed me out for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I could give 5 stars across the board here. The food is deliciously authentic and the establishment clean and bright and the service (family owned and proud) is great- although a little slow, itās well worth waiting for. I had tasty crumbly hot spiced somosas follow by a spicy lamb shish kebab - washed down with hot Indian spiced tea and a cool mango lassi ! Iām coming again and bringing friends. I gave 4 stars for service as it was a long wait ( no doubt they will improve over time)ā¦. And realise that every dish is made fresh from scratch ! I finally at the end of my delicious meal was greeted by the chef and owner Faiz - who couldnāt be more generous
Returned to try the Lamb Kofta Curry - absolutely sublime !
August 9th: returned for the Tandoori chicken kebab and Palak Paneer with the Achar Ghosht....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreInitially good--then disappointing. The first time my husband and I ate there, I had a cheeseburger and he had a wrap. The food was more than enough and came out pretty quickly. We were happy to have found a good halal place. However, the second time we ate there, we waited an hour for our food, and when it came out it was skimpy. Butter chicken was six chunks of meat swimming in sauce. The palak paneer was even worse, as it seemed to be just plain pureed spinach with pieces of the cheese --no spices at all. I thought it was a fluke until my son said they were there earlier that same day and had the same exact experience: waited an hour for the food and got only 5 chunks of chicken in their butter chicken dish....
