Buckley Roadside Bar — Restaurant in Hanover Township

I called to place an order recently, and the bar sounded busy. The lady asked if she could put me on hold for a moment, and i obliged. Approximately 5 minutes goes by (long time to be on hold for ordering pizza) and at this time i was hung up on. I called back, and let the lady know i was hung up on ( i could tell by the voice that it was the same lady that answered previously) she pretended like she did not remember me calling or placing me on hold. So i moved forward at this point because we still wanted to order food. (We heard good things) it was difficult to find a decent menu online, so i asked a few questions. The woman taking my order was fairly rude, and interrupted me alot. I placed an order for a medium pizza, and attempted to place an order for "cheese bread sticks" was interrupted again, and she said "cheese sticks" i again repeated cheese breadsticks. She said yeah, cheese sticks. My fiance went to pick up the order, and realized that they had attempted to give us Mozzarella Sticks. Let them know it was not correct. The lady (again same lady i spoke to over the phone) argued with my fiance saying that, i had ordered mozzarella sticks. It was explained that we did not order mozzarella sticks, and that the lady over the phone kept interrupting me, and i clarified 3 times that they were supposed to be cheese "bread sticks" the lady made sure she got the last word in, before charging us 30$ for a medium pizza, and a cheesy bread stick (cheese pizza with heavy garlic butter). The pizza dough was thick, and tasted like bisquick dough, but the main portion of the pizza was good. For being limited on selection in Buckley, i would imagine that one who is staying in Buckley may experience the service here. I hope it is better than the service we received, and i hope that Franks Buckley Bar redeems themselves for future customers. I can't say i would (Never) try them again.

*side note: After arguing with my fiance about "Cheese Sticks" & " Cheese Bread Sticks", your bar staff spent the next 15 minutes ( while the cheese breadsticks were being cooked) gossiping, and discussing what sounded like a rough night one of the bartenders were having. I can understand being busy, and getting frustrated trying to keep up, but i can not understand bringing personal problems into work, and letting it affect your interractions with customers, and trying to say that it is "busy" when they had time to gossip for...

Advised the waitress that our table was dirty when we sat down, she never cleaned it off. Waited several minutes for our drink order and ordered our food right away..... Since it seemed like the waitress/bartender was more intent on serving drinks and not waiting tables.

Another waitress came in, a tall brunette and was very helpful seemed to know exactly what she was doing.

She gave us our silverware and condiments.

Our waitress then brought the wrong Burger ,,, a quarter pound burger with chips for my husband who ordered a 1/2 pound Burger with fries. She proceeded to take the chips back and brought fries not Crisp, but soggy.

Then when we got the bill the waitress was charging us for the half pound Burger when he only got a quarter pound Burger so we had her correct the bill.

I hate to say it but we barely left a tip and I have never ever done that in my life, will Never be back.

The website pictures are different from what it really looks like. Employee's were excellent. So professional and kind. Food was ok. I feel as though the staff had a lot of people to serve at one time but managed everything. The women's restroom was propped open with a chair??? The doors on restroom you had to fight to close them. Toilet paper empty thankful I carry my own Kleenex packages. I still enjoyed. Also on website one lady appeared on photos several times and looked tipsy hope not an employee that could cost quite a bit if people are not doing correct things. To bad the major bar man could not hook up with this place. I would suggest using some income to improve and update which would attract more customers from other cities. It was busy when we were there so I would hope to see renovations or not your choice. Maybe you just want locals and I highly respect...
