Amazing find! Last year we stopped to get brunch as we were starving and there aren’t many choices along this stretch of road. We would come here on a regular basis if we could. There are a lot of locals but they are equally as nice to out of towners.

So this year on our drive, we remembered their food and made a point to stop for a late breakfast. In particular, we recalled their delicious corn beef hash and ordered it again! We ordered the Hungry Mans Breakfast (3 eggs, bacon sausage, hash browns and toast) and House Made Hash & Eggs (2 eggs, corned beef has and toast) (same as last year). We ordered eggs overeasy. The staff is attentive and ensure your coffee and water cups are full without asking. This is one of those places that just makes the perfect breakfast (or breakfast for lunch). You will leave feel satisfied and happy.

Note: while they have picnic tables outside they do not serve...

I stopped at this place on my way to Traverse City, and it was DELICIOUS! I got the big breakfast. Everything was perfect! The eggs were so hot and good, the bacon was crispy (my fault I forgot to ask it to be made soft, floppy), and I was surprised how the hashbrowns actually tasted like potato. I thought all hashrowns were like at Denny's (tasteless). But the best of all were the:

Sausage links. OMG so good and SO HOT! At most places they are lukewarm, but here they were so hot and tasted so good. I swear the last time I had such good and HOT sausage links were when my class and a bunch of classes from a bunch of schools went to a place called Mystic Lake Camp. I've always remembered how good and HOT their breakfasts were even when serving hundreds of students and dozens...

Outside dinning-clean as a whistle, nicely hand made picnic tables, beautiful potted and hanging plants outside all around you. Not enough places have outdoor dining. The sesame chicken and fried rice was out of this world like my serving was freshly made for me. Our waiter we found out was the owners son and he came outside several times to check on us and bring more drinks. Very attentive. He took a lot of pride in his mom and her restaurant and was the best waiter we have had in awhile any where. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you happen to be going through Buckley. Wish they were closer...

Homemade bun on hubby's burger was delicious. I had steak and cheese wrap, it was so good! Took homemade carrot cake, cinnamon roll and blueberry cream cheese donuts, all of it wonderful! We will be back
