Corky's Dogg House — Restaurant in Hanover Township

This visit was spot on. Everything was good. It all just worked out. Dine in, the place has limited seating or take out. Butter Garlic fries were a real treat. Stopped in on the way back to Chicago from Uncle John's Flea Market barn number 9, Bob's Barn the bargain barn we like to call it. One of the Houseofbiz & Company physical distribution points of general, vintage, and antique merchandise. Tons of nostalgia that has people wowing and OMGing for hours! Every weekend is an adventure there and an amazing place to go with family and friends. They do sell food there. However, Corky's has a full kitchen, dine in accommodation, and a greater selection of food or beverages compared to the weekend food trucks during the summer. After a full day and great times at the houseofbiz location at Uncle John's flea market Corky's was a perfect stop on the way back to the main office in the City of Chicago. We entered right before close . I was worried about being forced to take the food to go but was kindly welcome to stay and finish my food with my family as I begin to pour my soft drink I notice there wasn’t any syrup left for the cherry Pepsi it was only carbonation left . Being we was one of the last customers I decided to go trade drinks and informed employees they wouldn’t have to change it being I was the last customer however a lady who greeted me with such kindness wasn’t only kind but she took pride in her job and insisted she would change syrup so I can have a refill of the pop I wanted tell me about treating customers right and she did it happily proudly elegant and gracefully. So would like to thank Sharon from Corkys for making me a proud customer and I hope corkys regonize her for an outstanding job . Once again...

First time here. From the outside it doesn’t look like much. But when you go inside you are in shock how nice it is! It features a very modern design incorporated with old time cars including the back section of a mustang at the front counter. The menu is very easy to read and as you walk in you’re greeted by the front counter who is super kind and even offered a free sample of their famous garlic butter fries. Plenty of seating inside and out for the size. I ordered two hot dogs which came with a fry and drink. I got chicken strips as well. Both were amazing!! To drink I got a green river from the self serve fountain which is hard to find unless you go to schoops so I was very impressed . I just recently moved to Saint John and this has to be my new favorite spot near by. So clean. So friendly . Good prices....
