Locked in at the Lake — Attraction in Hanover Township

It was a fun experience! Was completely surprised by new rooms emerging as we found clues. It was hard at first since this was our first time and we just stood looking at each other and the objects in the room when the employee shut our door and said, “Good luck!” The timing was perfect when the employee could tell we were clueless and left us that way for about 5 minutes to let us sweat and then asked us if we needed some help. She always knew when to check in…. Ironically every time she checked in we were definitely clueless. It was super challenging but as time went on we got better at it. The employee was friendly and helpful and laughed right along with us when we finished just in the knick of time of our hour. Good time and great difficult clues, which is what you want. We took four kids to enjoy the kids escape room, I was nervous they wouldn’t stay on task or get overwhelmed. I was totally wrong, the staff kept the kids engaged with subtle little hints throughout the experience. When they made it out, the kids we’re full of excitement. The dads did one of the adult rooms while the moms laughed and enjoyed watching the kids from the viewing room. After dinner the parents decided we wanted to go back and enjoy the second adult room. We just left our escape room experience and immediately had to leave a review. We had an absolute blast! Our group had ages 10-50 and everyone was able to contribute and have fun! We narrowly escaped and loved the rush at the end trying to solve the last puzzles. The hosts were great! They let us play independently but were also helpful when we needed clues. The rooms are really well designed with great aesthetics and all the puzzles were super fun!
