Huddle House — Restaurant in Harlem

We came back in town to visit with family. We wanted some good breakfast and coffee, so my little brother decided Huddle House. The first impression was, wow this is way cleaner and nicer now! The staff was very friendly and greeted us immediately. The tables and floor were clean, and the restrooms were well kept! The coffee was a little off, maybe too weak for my taste. The food was great! Awesome waffles nice and fluffy, hashbrowns were crispy but still chewable (the all the way is how to do it!), turkey sausage was flavored really great!, and the eggs were great. The burgers didn't get any complaints either. All in all the updates and nice staff made this place much better from when I was a kid. Just needed some better coffee and it'd be 5 out of 5! EDIT: have come here consistently now everytime we are back in town to visit family. They have knocked it out of the park every single time. Husband talks nonstop about the steak and eggs! Giving 5 out of 5 stars for excellent...

I just want to say everything about my meal was perfect!!! Self- seating when you walk in, instant service, rapid food delivery…

When my food arrived it was absolutely photo- worthy. It could have been used for their commercials. Everything was cooked exactly perfectly. I had the MVP breakfast with waffle, 3 strips of bacon, 2 eggs over medium, fruit, and biscuits and gravy, served with bottomless coffee and an orange juice. This was my idea of the perfect breakfast combination. The portions were large enough to fill me up, and small enough for me to finish without engorging myself (because I really have a problem with leaving food un-eaten). I honestly can’t find the best words to describe how happy I am to have found this restaurant in the middle of a trip somewhere I’ve never been before, and how amazing my meal and overall experience were!!!

Since my previous post today was my first time in there and I wasn't eating. I was coming to say hello to somebody who was but with different people there. Just the atmosphere itself was very welcoming

I've been in there a few times during lunch and there's one girl waitress there and she has got the worst attitude about her. I've never seen her smile. She's never welcomed me or anybody else that's walked in and she walks around like she has better places to be. I've worked at Huddle House for a long long time myself and it don't matter what kind of mood you're in. You should always smile at your customers and say hello when they come in or it's not very welcoming. Nobody wants to go eat someplace where they are a bother to...
