If you like cold, sopping wet hamburgers that were probably pulled out of a sink, this is the place for you. Not for me though. Today I stopped by and had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a fast food establishment in my life. And that’s an honest statement. The person who took my order was noticeably more rude than he normally is. He kept asking “is that all?” And interrupted me with “pull forward” when I asked for ranch. I made sure to ask again at the window like I always do, because they never ring it up and therefore it never displays the ranch on the monitor. Sure enough they had to go back and get it. When I pulled out I noticed that the ranch they gave me had about a teaspoon in each cup. I turned around and very kindly pointed that out at the speaker, and when they swapped them out for me, the lady at the window said “well they're all like that” when she gave me different ones. I didn’t want to be complicated or demanding so I took what she gave me, said thank you and left.
I should have been more thorough checking to make sure it was right before going home because they forgot the sauce I ordered with the chicken, too. And when I opened the hamburger wrapper, I was astonished at what I saw. The lettuce was soggy and the whole thing was sopping wet with weird clear orange “sauce”. It was like snot. The bun legitimately felt like it came out of a wet sink and the whole thing was cold. Thinking about eating that made me nauseous.
Went back for a refund, was told I had to get the original card, went home and got the card, came back and when they tried to do a refund they couldn’t get it to work. I walked out with a cash refund and a dirty look from the guy who took my order in the first place. The whole ordeal took about an hour and a half out of my day and I ended up going to subway.
There are some nice people there, and the manager was very kind and patient. The guy who took my order at 2:30 p.m. today, the 4th of August was extremely impatient at the speaker and whoever made that hamburger has a much lower standard of consumable food than I do.
I never ever ever act rudely to customer service associates, and I’m very patient and kind to them at all times. I know that this job is hard. When I work customer service jobs, the customers who are kind and patient make the job so much easier to handle and I always appreciated those people. Apparently some of the associates in there don’t think...
Read moreSooo used the drive up option and ordered my food. This guy with glasses and beard who worked on Friday, August 20 in the 1pm time range. He was working the window and immediately lerches out the service window and hands me my drink without saying anything. I hand him my card for payment. Then he hands me back my card and turns to do other things. A few moments after he then hands me my food with his back turned towards. Completely turned away from me and reached back behind him but with the food and never says a word. No, thank you, anything else or have a great day. We do not have much in terms of food options in this little town and Lord knows you probably monopolize on most of the sales as a result. It is unacceptable behavior to treat me with disrespect when I am the customer. I've been a customer service professional for 35+ years and I have led and instructed service industry standards. I recommend that your staff are exposed to some remedial customer service skills. I know staff are hard to come by these days due to the demands on expectations they require to join your team. However allowing them to act in this manner is absolutely ridiculous. I almost wished I had recorded his behavior. Never again...
Read moreI ordered a #1 (Big Jack) combo for $7.99. The lady said "what to drink". I said "unsweet tea". She said "sweet tea?". I said no unsweetened tea". She said "pull around" offering no food $ total while I was still sitting in front of the menu board showing the prices. Then when I pulled around she said "that will be $8.71". I thought that sounded high but since I was not in front of the menu board I didn't want to argue. She handed me my food (suspiciously) with no receipt. I asked for my receipt & when I got home I saw my drink had been upgraded to a large adding 40 cents to my bill. I never asked to upgrade my drink. I was never asked if I wanted to upgrade my drink to a larger size. It was just done to try to scam me & pad the bottom line of this location with added fees. Burger King scams like this all the time too. This has got to stop!!! It is not OK to scam your customers. Give people what they order for the price point it is listed at. Stop padding people's tickets to make more money. I know it is only 40 cents but when you do it to thousands of people per day it adds up. It's not right Jacks! You...
