Morse’s — Restaurant in Harpswell

I was sad to hear that they had closed their place by the Cribstone bridge but they’re back and they brought their delicious menu with them. We come from Cliff Island and they kindly let us tie up at the working wharf for our meal. Their seafood nachos are incredible, clams, oysters, lobster quesadillas-wow! I was staying at the Harpswell in just up the hill from Morse's for my son's wedding in the area. After I ate my first Lobster Roll at Morse's, I made sure I had lunch there every day until we left!! I can still taste the awesome deliciousness of the piled-high lobster meat with just the right amount of dressing to compliment the freshness of the lobster. This is not your normal food truck! Everything from cheeseburgers to seafood nachos, something for everyone. This has to be where the saying “Only in Maine” comes from. Friendly service, unbelievable view, and food that is both classic and innovative. Because it’s a working wharf, don’t expect any frills beyond those provided by nature (read: spectacular sunsets, but bring your own chair).
